                        Chandigarh Police achieved major success by arresting accused Paramjit Singh S/o Shri Onkar Singh R/o Village Seikha Matta, Teh. Mukerian, Distt. Hoshiarpur (Pb) age 50 yrs and Rakesh Bassi S/o late Ayodhaya Parkash Bassi R/o #136, Ward No. 02, Mohalla Bassian, Dasuya, Distt-Hoshiarpur (Pb) in MV theft cases. On 3.11.18 case FIR No. 424 dated 3.11.18 u/s 379 IPC PS-39, Chandigarh was registered regarding theft of Zen Car No. PB-65-7117 from the parking of market Sector 40, Chandigarh. Keeping in view of increasing of theft incidents, a special team comprising under the close supervision of S.H.O./PS-39, had been constituted.   On 17.12.2018 (Evening Time), the team working on the secret information naka was laid down near 55/56 and during naka one silver colour City Honda Car No. PB-10AV-7050 was stopped.  The driver of the car disclosed his name as Paramjit Singh s/o Sh. Onkar Singh r/o Village Seikha Matta, Teh. Mukerian, Distt. Hoshiarpur (Pb) Age 50 yrs.  He was asked to show the document, but he could not produce any document of the car.  On thorough interrogation the said car driver disclosed that he had stolen this car from Sector-34, Chandigarh and was driving it with the fake number plate. On verification from PS-34, Chandigarh it came to notice that case FIR No. 385/2018 u/s 379 IPC has already been registered in PS-34, Chd and the original number of the car was CH01BL-6214. 

In this regard, case FIR No. 472 dated 18.12.2018 U/S 473, 411 IPC had been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh.  During further interrogation the said car driver disclosed that he had also stolen one Zen car no. PB-65-7117 from parking of market Sector-40, Chandigarh which he had sold to scrap dealer namely Rakesh Bassi S/o late Ayodhaya Parkash Bassi R/o #136, Ward No. 02, Mohalla Bassian, Dasuya, Distt-Hoshiarpur (Pb).  

On 18.12.2018, the accused Paramjit Singh produced in the Court and 02 days police remand obtained.  During remand, he has been taken to Hoshiarpur (Pb) and stolen cars i.e. Zen car No. PB-65-7117 and Honda City CH-03BD-3899 has been recovered from Dasuya/ scrap dealer Rakesh Bassi.  Accused Rakesh Bassi has been arrested in case FIR No. 424 dated 3.11.18 u/s 379 IPC PS-39, Chandigarh. With the arrest of both accused the following four cases of MV theft of this Police Station as well as other police station have been solved. The detail of solved case is as under.

1.         FIR No. 424 dated 3.11.18 u/s 379 IPC PS-39, Chandigarh (Zen Car No. PB-65-7117).

2.         FIR No. 472 dated 18.12.2018 U/S 473, 411 IPC PS-39, Chandigarh (Honda City CH-01BL-6214 (fake number) original number CH01BL-6214 stolen from PS-34, Chandigarh.

3.         FIR No. 457 dated 04.12.18 u/s 379 IPC PS-39, Chandigarh (Activa HR-02AP-1626).

4.         FIR No. 211 dated 01.11.18 u/s 379 IPC PS-03, Chandigarh (Honda City Car No. CH 03 BD 3899)

5.         One Hero Honda Splendor Motorcycle (without number plate) u/s 102 Cr. P.C.

Profile and Modes Operandi:           Accused Paramjit Singh S/o Onkar Singh is running Dhaba in the name of Food Corner at Talwara (Punjab).  He had borrowed money from his friend circle but he could not return the borrowed money and started stealing the vehicles so that he could refund the borrowed money. He keeps master key with him and used to steal the old model cars with the help of this key and after that he put the fake registration numbers on the stolen cars and further sold the same somewhere else.

                                Accused Rakesh Bassi S/o late Ayodhaya Parkash Bassi R/o #136, Ward No. 02, Mohalla Bassian, Dasuya, Distt-Hoshiarpur (Pb) is a scrap dealer and having own shop at G.T. Road, Dasuya.

नेहरू युवा केन्द्र पंचकूला द्वारा संकल्प से सिधि कार्यक्रम का आयोजन टिपस सैटर बरवाला  मे किया गया जिसमे 85 युवाओं व युवतीयों द्वारा भाग लिया गया। कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत प्रदीप सिंह उतरों द्वारा सभी का स्वागत करते हुए नेहरू युवा केन्द्र संगठन की भूमिका व युवा मंडलो के विकास पर बल दिया। इस कार्यकम का मुख्य बिंदु युवा नेतृत्व विकास , बुनियादी शिक्षा व कौशल विकास, पर्यावरण व जीवन कौशल जैसे मुद्दो पर मंथन करना था। यह कार्यक्रम महात्मा गांधी जी की 150 वी जयंती को भी सर्मपित है।  बाजवा ने बताया संकलप कभी अधूरे नही रहते बर्शत है कि व्यक्ति अपने संक्लप के दृृड संकलप हो।
 इस कार्यक्रम में वन विभाग से सेवानिवृत वेदप्रकाश द्वारा पर्यावरण को सुरक्षित बनाने पर विभिन्न पहलुओं पर चर्चा की गई जिसमें उपस्थित युवाओं से अनुरोध किया की वे पेडों को अपने मित्र बनाकर उनका पालन, पोषण करें। हिमालयन कौशल विकास प्रशिक्षण सैंटर सै-26 पंचकूला से समन्वयक मनीष कुमार  द्वारा कौशल विकास को युवाओं का भविष्य बताया । उन्होने बताया कि अगर आपके पास हुनर है तो आपको रोजगार की चिंता नही करनी चाहिए। उपभोक्ता फोरम पंचकूला से नरेन्द्र द्वारा उपभोक्ता के हितो के लिए विभिन्न जानकारी उपलब्ध कराई गई।
कुलदीप सिंह द्वारा सूचना के अधिकार  पर विस्तृत जानकारी दी। इसी दौरान युवाओ के साथ कौमी एकता पर भी चर्चा की गई व सभी को एकता की शपथ दिलाई गई । कार्यक्रम का समापन राष्ट्रगान के साथ हुआ। अनिल कुमार बागवाली ने भी सभी को स्वच्छता के बारे में जागरूक किया गया।

विश्व मानवाधिकार दिवस पर हरियाणा राज्य बाल कल्याण परिषद मानद महासचिव श्री कृष्ण ढुल और एसडीएम पंकज सेतिया ने ओपन शेल्टर होम में बच्चों को खाने का सामान वितरित किया। इस दौरान मानद महासचिव कृष्ण ढुल और एसडीएम पंकज सेतिया ने बच्चों से अपने जीवन के अनुभव सांझा किए व मानवाधिकार से जुड़े अधिकारों के प्रति जागरूक किया।
कृष्ण ढुल ने कहा कि आज के दिन को उन सभी लोगों की स्मृति के रूप में मनाया जाता है जो किसी इंसान के अधिकारों के लिए खड़े होते हैं। मानवाधिकार से तात्पर्य उन अधिकारों से है, जिसका हर इंसान मालिक है। हम सभी को वोट देने का अधिकार, भाषण के अधिकार, शिक्षा का अधिकार, कमाने का अधिकार और कई दूसरे अधिकार मिले हुए हैं। कई बहसों और मुद्दों के बाद इन अधिकारों को मनुष्यों को आवंटित किया गया है। यह हमारी जिम्मेदारी है और हमारे लिए बनाए गए प्रत्येक अधिकार का लाभ लेने का हमें अधिकार है। श्री कृष्ण ढुल ने कहा कि विकलांग व्यक्तियों, अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जनजाति आदि जैसे मनुष्यों के विशेष वर्गों के लिए कई मानवाधिकारों की विशेष रूप से घोषणा की गई है। हम सभी को इन लोगों को अपने अधिकारों का साक्षी करने के लिए समर्थन करना चाहिए ताकि वे उनसे लाभ उठा सकें।
एसडीएम ने कहा कि वर्तमान में लगभग 30 मानवाधिकार हैं। ये अधिकार बहुत ही दृढ़ हैं और मनुष्यों के कल्याण के लिए केंद्र बिंदु हैं। समानता का अधिकार, भेदभाव से स्वतंत्रता, शिक्षा का अधिकार, सामाजिक सुरक्षा का अधिकार, विश्वास और धर्म से स्वतंत्रता आदि। इन सभी को मानवीय अधिकार घोषित किया गया है। ये हमारी जिम्मेदारी है कि इनको बनाए रखें और लोगों के भलाई और कल्याण के लिए इन अधिकारों का पालन और लाभ उठाने के लिए सभी के बीच जागरूकता पैदा करें। इंसानों के साथ कैसे व्यवहार किया जाए इस वैश्विक समझ के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र द्वारा 1948 में इन अधिकारों को घोषित किया गया था। हर साल 10 दिसंबर मानवाधिकार दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। इस दिन को मानव अधिकारों की वैश्विक घोषणा के रूप में स्वीकार किया गया है और सभी देशों के लिए एक सामान्य मानक के रूप में इसके निरंतर अस्तित्व और स्मरण को सुनिश्चित करना है। इस अवसर पर अडॉप्शन अधिकारी पूनम सूद उपस्थित रहे।

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu seconded CM Amarinder Singh saying that the government cannot allow terrorism and let innocents die.

Captain also said,”As a Sikh, I wanted to attend the Pakistan ceremony. But I am also the CM of Punjab.”

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Monday laid the foundation stone for the Kartarpur Sahib corridor, which will facilitate easy passage to Sikh pilgrims to the historic Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan.

While addressing the gathering, CM Amarinder Singh warned Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Bajwa and said that his government will not allow anyone to enter Punjab and vitiate the atmosphere.

“I am warning you( Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Bajwa), we are also Punjabis, you will not be allowed to enter here and vitiate the atmosphere. We Punjabis know how to give a befitting reply to such forces,” Singh said.

He further questioned Bajwa that “which army teaches to violate ceasefire and kill jawans on the other side”.

“Which army teaches to send people to attack Pathankot and Amritsar? This is cowardness,” Singh added.

Continuing his tirade against the Pakistan army chief, Singh said, “It is my duty to maintain peace in Punjab. But, there are people like Bajwa who want to create disturbances. I will not allow such conspiracies. Bajwa should wake up. Only the Army runs the government in Pakistan.

“The Pakistan PM should control the Army and ISI. We have a bigger army than Pakistan. There is a limit of tolerance. People are telling me on Facebook to go to Pakistan. But I can’t go until there is peace,” he added.

Singh also added that he will not attend the inauguration ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor in Pakistan.

“Stop the attacks on Indian soil. This is why I am not going on to Pakistan despite an invitation from them. As a Sikh, I wanted to attend the Pakistan ceremony. But I am also the CM of Punjab,” he said.

The decision to build the passage — from Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur district to the International Border — was taken by the Union Cabinet on November 22.

Kartarpur is located in Shakargarh in Narowal district of Pakistan’s Punjab. Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism, had spent more than 18 years of his life there.

The Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara is located on the banks of the Ravi river, about three-four km from the border in Pakistan.

Three people were killed and 20 injured when two motorcycle-borne men threw a grenade at the Nirankari Bhawan in Adliwal village in Rajasansi area, about 15 km from Amritsar, on November 18.

Amarinder Singh had accused the Pakistani Intelligence Agency ISI for the attack on Nirankari Bhawan in Amritsar saying the incident was a “pure case of terrorism”.

चंडीगढ़ में आज वितीय कमेटी ने 99 पार्क् बच्चों के खेलने के लिए अनुबंधित किये हैं लेकिन इन   पार्क को चुनते वक्त न तो एरिया के रेसिडेंट वेल्फेयर एसोसिएशन या पार्षदों से भी सलाह नहीं ली गयी और अधिकतर  ऐसे पार्क चुने गए हैं जो सेक्टर के कोनों में अपेक्षित पड़े थे । हितेश पूरी चेयरमैन करॉफेड ने बताया कि जबकि होना ये चाहिए कि छोटे बच्चों के लिए घरों के आसपास सभी पार्को में खेलने की इजाजत होनी चाहिए और बड़े बच्चों केलिए स्कूलों के पार्क उपलब्ध होने चाहिए। यदि घर के पास के  पार्क न मिले तो छोटे बच्चों के लिए मुसीबत हो जाएगी ,दूर के पार्क में न ही माता पिता बच्चों का ध्यान रख पाएंगे तो ऐसे में बच्चों को घर में ही टी वी या मोबाइल गेम्स का ही सहारा लेना पड़ेगा।

Sushma Not to contest in next log sabha elections

She underwent a kidney transplant at the AIIMS on December 10, 2016.

Minister for External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj, declared in Indore on Tuesday that she would not be contesting the next Lok Sabha polls scheduled for 2019 and that the top leadership of the BJP had been informed of the same.

“It is the party which decides, but I have made up my mind not to contest the next elections,” she told reporters on the sidelines of a campaign event in Indore for the Assembly election in Madhya Pradesh.

Ms. Swaraj, one of the senior-most leaders of the BJP, is a Lok Sabha member from Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh. She was the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha during the term of the second UPA government.

Ms. Swaraj’s announcement came out when she was reacting to questions on her diminished political activity following her kidney-related illness and replacement surgery.

“I have not been active for a year because of a kidney condition. You can’t judge whether I am active based on whether I have attended election meetings or not. Today, L.K. Advani comes to all meetings, blesses us, sits in parliament. To say that I am not active just because I didn’t attend an election meeting for a year… if you think that means I should be out of politics, it is unfair,” she said.

Sources in the BJP said that Ms. Swaraj may be offered a Rajya Sabha seat in future.

Close aides of Ms Swaraj said that her reasons were “purely to do with health reasons.”

Ms. Swaraj’s husband, Swaraj Kaushal added a piquant note to the announcement by thanking his wife for the announcement. “At some point even (athlete) Milkha Singh had to stop running,” he said on Twitter.

Sh. Indeervar Chadha R/o # 880, Sector-38/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Bi-Cycle from near his residence on the night intervening dated 15/16.11.2018. A case FIR No. 442, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

        A case FIR No. 441, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-Mani Majra, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Mouli Complex, Chandigarh who alleged that unknown person met her in PNB, SCO No. 809, NAC, MM, Chandigarh on 19.11.2018. He offered to help complainant for depositing her Rs. 45,000/- in account. But he skipped away with said amount from bank. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Criminal Breach of Trust

A case FIR No. 293, U/S 406 IPC has been registered in PS-I.T Park, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Sukhdev Singh R/o # 1438, New Indira Colony, Manimajra, Chandigarh who alleged that Rajiv Tandon R/o # 119, Hargobind Nagar, Sector-10, Govindgarh City, Khanna, Punjab borrowed his car No. CH-01AH-1824 for treatment of her mother at PGI. But alleged person did not return his car.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

Quarrel/Assault

        Sh. Shishan Kumar R/o # 79, Village-Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh alleged that 6-7 unknown persons attacked, beaten, threatened complainant & snatched purse containing Cash Rs.560/-, Insurance and pollution certificate and also damaged complainant’s Motor Cycle No.CH-01BH-0574 from near ATM, CRPF Camp, Village-Hallo Majra, Chandigarh on 19.11.2018. Robbery

        Arshad R/o # 636, Charan Singh Colony, Village-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh stated that he is working as gas cylinder supplier in Indane Gas Agency, further he  alleged that while he was delivering gas cylinder at house Sector 52, Chandigarh meanwhile two unknown persons came to him and asked to deliver cylinder at their home. They robbed away purse containing cash Rs. 13,000/-, Aadhar Card & photo from complainant when he reached with them at # 1827, Sector-52, Chandigarh on 19.11.2018. A case FIR No. 407, U/S 392, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Damage to property

A case FIR No. 288, U/S 435 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh on the complaint of Narender R/o # 1992/B, EWS Colony, Village-Dhanas, Chandigarh who alleged that unknown person burnt left side wheel of his Kwid Car No. CH-01BP-1512 while parked near his house on night intervening dated 18/19.11.2018. Investigation of the case is in progress.
