केरल के बाढ़ पीडि़तों को आर्थिक सहायता भेजेगी आप: योगेश्वर शर्मा

आम आदमी पार्टी केरल के बाढ़ पीडि़तों की आर्थिक मदद करेगी तथा प्रदेश भर से पार्टी की ओर से धन जुटाकर केरल के लोगों को भेजेगी। पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक एवं दिल् ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल भी इस मामले में पहले ही अपील कर चुके हैं।

आज यहां जारी एक ब्यान में पार्टी के जिला पंचकूला के अध्यक्ष योगेश्वर शर्मा ने कहा कि केरल हमारे देश का एक अभिन्न अंग है और इस समय वहां रहने वाले हमारे भाई बहन प्राकृतिक आपदा के कारण संकट में हैं। ऐसे में हमारा यह दायित्व बनता है कि हम ज्यादा से ज्यादा,जिस भी तरह से बन पड़े उनकी मदद करें। यही अपील दिल् ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने भी की है तथा सभी पार्टीजनों से भी इस दिशा में काम करने को कहा गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि आप के सभी जिला अध्यक्ष अपने अपने जिलों से ज्यादा से ज्यादा रुपये एकत्रित कर प्रदेश इकाई को भेजेंगे, जहां से यह मदद आगे भेजी जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि उनकी पार्टी यह काम राजनीति से ऊपर उठकर करेगी। इसमें वे हर उस इंसान या किसी भी पार्टी के नेता का स्वगत करेंगे जो इस काम में अपनी ओर से मदद की पेशकश करेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि हरियाणा का यह सदैव व्यावहार रहा है कि वह अपने किसी भी भाईबंधू को परेशानी में देखकर तत्काल उसकी मदद को आगे हाथ बढ़ाता है और इस बार भी वह इस काम में चार कदम आगे ही खड़ा होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि उन्होंने जिले के सभी पदाधिकारियों को इस मामले में दिशानिर्देश जारी कर दिए हैं तथा पार्टी कार्यकर्ता अपने अपने तौर पर इस काम में जुट गये हैं।

Satya Pal Malik appointed new Governor of J&K

Bihar Governor Satya Pal Malik has been appointed as new governor of Jammu Kashmir on Tuesday.

Malik has been transferred to Jammu and Kashmir to replace incumbent Governor N N Vohra, according to a Rashtrapati Bhavan communique today.

Senior BJP leader Lal Ji Tandon has been appointed as the Governor of Bihar replacing Malik, and Satyadev Narayan Arya will be the new Governor of Haryana, it said.

Vohra, who was appointed governor in June 2008 was given a fresh term in 2013. He is among the few governors appointed by the UPA government to have continued in his position in the BJP-led NDA dispensation.

Meanwhile Baby Rani Maurya will be the new Governor of Uttarakhand, it said.

Kaptan Singh Solanki, the Governor of Haryana, has been transferred to Tripura.

Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy has been transferred to Meghalaya, it said.

Ganga Prasad, the Governor of Meghalaya, has been transferred to Sikkim, it said.

The above appointments will take effect from the dates the incumbents assume charge of their respective offices.

MGSIPA’s training programme for School Teachers on “Drug Abuse Prevention”

Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Public Administration (MGSIPA) Punjab, Regional Centre, Bathinda launched a two days capacity building training programme for school teachers on the theme “Drug Abuse Prevention” at District Administrative Complex, Bathinda here today. This programme has been sponsored by National Institute of Social Defence, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, New Delhi. As many as 50 teachers drawn from Government Senior Secondary Schools of District Bathinda are participating in the programme.

Interacting with the participants, Sh. Jarnail Singh, Regional Project Director, MGSIPA Regional Centre, Bathinda said that the Prevention of Drug Abuse has become a major issue of national concern and has attracted the attention of Central and State Governments besides social voluntary organisations. This capacity building programme for teachers is a part of the series of endeavors being made by the Government of India and Government of Punjab in urban and rural areas. He said that the teachers have a great influence on the students and the society at large. It is the teaching community which plays a major role in moulding the lives and attitudes of the students. He emphasized that the teachers should adopt a holistic framework of moral and civic education with focus on prevention of drug abuse in their schools and colleges to which the students will certainly emulate with the motivational approach. He also appealed to the teachers to equip our future generations with intellectual mind and positive thinking process so that they can emerge as good human beings, ready to contribute to the betterment of society and eradication social ills like drug abuse.

In this two days programme, the subject experts have been invited to give talks to the participants on various issues related to the drug abuse prevention in the society. The sessions will be on “introduction to Psychoactive substance use and Drug Resistance Skills” by Dr. ArunBansal, M.D. (Psychiatry) CivilHospital, Bathinda, “Myths and facts related to substance abuse and Basic Counselling Skills” by Dr. Vikas-deep, Assistant Professor, Guru Kanshi University, Talwandi Sabo, “Legal aspects related to drug abuse in India” by Dr. TarunArora, HoD, Law Dept., Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, “Life skills to protect students from substance misuse and addiction” by Dr. AmandeepKaur, Principal, Govt. Sen. Sec. School, Gobindpuraand “Role of teachers in prevention of drug abuse among students” by Dr. Nimmi Jindal, HoD, Law Dept., Punjabi University Regional Centre, Bathinda.

National Media Co-ordinator & State Secretary Deepanshu Bansal has sent a memorandum to Education minister,Govt. Of Haryana regarding revocation of Semester system in Govt. Colleges and Universities of Haryana and demands implementation of annual examination system in Haryana State likewise Himachal Govt has revocked the semester system and implemented annual examination system.

Semester system is a good process but due to failure of BJP govt and bad management it is affecting the studies of students and teacher are helpless in this. Semester system is degrading the level of education. Students and teachers are taggled in other works Instead of focusing on examinations, classes and studies. Deepanshu said, there is 365 days in a year in which 52 days are of Sunday for which colleges are closed and on other side 52 days are Saturday , on which there is not much lectures due to short attendance. Also, India is a secular state and there are lot of religions and it has lot of festivals to celebrate the joy and happiness due to which there are 50-60 holidays and examinations of both semesters in a year takes 60-70 days. Also, admission procedure takes 30-40 days in total.If we calculate all these, Students get only 60-70 days in a year which means just. 30-35 days in a semester. It is difficult for students and teachers to cope up with the syllabus.It also affects the results of students and students are unable to complete their syllabus in time. Though, HRD ministry has also recommended to revock the semester system. On the other side, Students are unable to participate in Cultural and sports activities. Deepanshu alleges that,Semester system is failed as it is not implemented properly at grass root level which is a failure of BJP govt. Semester system is a procedure to help the students to cover up their syllabus easily but it is affecting them due to bad management of BJP govt. NSUI Demands for annual examination system and to revock the semester system with an immediate effect to improve the education system and to help the students.

पाकिस्तानी आर्मी के चीफ को गले लगाने के मामले पर दी सफाई

पाकिस्तान के नए प्रधानमंत्री व पूर्व क्रिकेटर इमरान खान के शपथ ग्रहण समारोह में शामिल होने गए नवजोत सिंह सिद्धूू उस वक्त विवादों मे फंस गए ,जब पाकिस्तानी आर्मी के चीफ ओमर जावेद बाजवा से गले लगते हुए उनकी तस्वीर वायरल हो गई थी।

सिद्धूूू को इस मामले में काफी आलोचना का सामना करना पड़ था यहां तक की उनकी पार्टी के सदस्यों ने भी इस पर एतरा•ा जाहिर किया, पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री कैप्टन अमरिंद्र सिंह ने भी इस मामले पर कहा था कि सिद्धू का बाजवा से गले लगना ठीक नहीं था। बजरंग दल ने तो तुगलकी फरमान जारी करते हुए यहां तक कह दिया कि जो भी सिद्धू का गला काट कर लाएगा उसे 5 लाख रूपये इनाम दिया जाएगा। वहीं भाजपा की तरफ से प्रवक्ता संबित पात्रा ने इसे शहीदों का अपमान बताया था।

इस मामले पर सफाई देने के लिए सिद्धू ने मंगलवार को चंडीगढ़ में प्रेस कॉन्फ्रैंस कर अपना रखा। सिद्धू ने पत्रकारों से वार्ता के दौरान कहा कि जानबूझकर छोटी-छोटी बातों को बढ़ावा देकर उनका मुद्दा बनाया जा रहा है। आगे अपने अलग ही अंदाज में उन्होंने कहा कि पत्थर हमेशा आम के पेड़ को मारा जाता है ना कि नीम के पेड़ पर। वह अरदास करते हैं कि सबका भला हो। साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि कब तक इस तरह कि छोटी बातों को बढ़ावा देकर राजनीतिक रोटियां सेकी जाएंगी।

वार्ता के दौरान उन्होंने बताया कि बाजवा ने उनसे कहा कि गुरू नानक देव की जयंती पर वह अटारी बॉडर खोल देंगे इस बात को सुनकर उन्होंने बाजवा को गले लगा लिया। उन्होंने कहा कि नानक देव जी का नाम जैसे ही उन्होंने लिया तो भावुक होकर उनहोंने बाजवा को गले लगा लिया ।

The rebel group declares Khaira as President of the Punjab unit of AAP

CHANDIGARH:

The rebel group of Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) today announced the name of Bholath MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira as President of the Punjab unit of AAP. Khaira was recently removed from the post of Leader of Opposition.

Khaira said that he has accepted the post of state president as per wish of his party workers in Punjab and in foreign countries. He said that Punjab was passing througj a tough time and Congress and SAD were hand in glove. He demanded that Congress had called shortest two day long session of Vidhan Sabha to discuss Bargari firing incident and Justice Ranjit Singh Commission report. He demanded 15 day long session as no issue could be debated at short session of two days.

कॉर्पोरेशन बैंक ने फाउंटेन पार्क सेक्टर 5 पंचकूला में लगाए 100 वृक्ष

पाकिस्तान यात्रा पर सिद्धू ने सफाई दी

शनिवार को बीजेपी ने इमरान खान के शपथ ग्रहण समारोह में पाकिस्तानी सेना प्रमुख को गले लगाने के ‘निंदनीय कृत्य’ के लिए सिद्धू पर निशाना साधा था और राहुल गांधी से पूछा कि क्या वह ऐसा करने के लिए सिद्धू को बर्खास्त करेंगे.

सुरजेवाला ने सिद्धू का बचाव करते हुए पत्रकारों को मंत्री अनिल विज को गंभीरता से न लेने की सलाह दी 

क्रिकेटर से कांग्रेस के नेता बने और अब पंजाब के मंत्री नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू ने पाकिस्तानी प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान के शपथ समारोह में शामिल होने को लेकर बीजेपी की आलोचनाओं का जवाब दिया है.

सिद्धू ने रविवार को पत्रकारों से कहा कि वह इमरान खान को पिछले 35 साल से जानते हैं. सिद्धू ने कहा, खान से दोस्ती के कारण उनके न्योते पर शपथ समारोह में शामिल हुए. कांग्रेस नेता ने आगे कहा, जो लोग मेरी आलोचना करते हैं, वो लंबी जिंदगी जिएं. ऐसा कोई जरूरी नहीं कि मैं भी उनकी भाषा बोलूं.

सिद्धू ने कहा, हमलोग रोज खेल के मैदान पर बात करते रहे हैं. हमदोनों एकसाथ कमेंटरी भी कर चुके हैं. यह दोस्ती का तकाजा था और इसे संकीर्ण सोच के साथ नहीं देखा जाना चाहिए.

बीजेपी प्रवक्ता संबित पात्रा ने एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में कहा कि पाकिस्तान के कब्जे वाले कश्मीर (पीओके) के राष्ट्रपति मसूद खान सिद्धू के बगल वाली सीट पर बैठे थे लेकिन उन्होंने इस पर एतराज नहीं जताया. बहरहाल, कांग्रेस ने इस मामले को ज्यादा तवज्जो नहीं दिया.

कांग्रेस के मुख्य प्रवक्ता रणदीप सुरजेवाला ने इस मामले पर पूछे गए सवाल का जवाब नहीं दिया. हरियाणा के मंत्री अनिल विज ने कहा कि सिद्धू ने ऐसे समय में धूमधाम से हुए शपथ ग्रहण समारोह में भाग लिया जब देश शोक मना रहा है. विज के बयान के बारे में पूछे जाने पर सुरजेवाला ने कहा, ‘आपको उन्हें गंभीरता से नहीं लेना चाहिए. यह बेहतर होगा.’
