Amritsar: The inhuman treatment meted out to a woman in Amritsar allegedly at the hands of the Punjab Police has been caught on camera and shocked the entire country. As per the details coming in, the Punjab Police had gone to a house to arrest the woman’s father-in-law, an alleged accused in a property dispute case.

However, upon not finding him at the residence, the Punjab Police Crime Branch personnel tried to take away his wife. When she forcefully opposed it, they held her as a ‘punishment’. Exposing their monstrous faces, the cops tied the woman to the roof of their jeep and drove around the village.

When villagers protested against it, cops dumped the woman to the road while taking a sharp turn in an area of Amritsar district and fled. One more version floating around is that the woman fell down while the jeep was being driven at high speed. The woman was later admitted to a hospital
