Unidentified miscreants have opened fired at the residence of President AISSF

Ferozepur August 20, 2018:  On Sunday night, some unidentified miscreants reported to have fired at the paternal residence of Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad, President All India Sikh Students Federation.  However, there had been no loss of life.

As per the statement given  the police by Gurcharan Singh Peer Mohammad father of Karnail Singh, has stated that he went to the Gurudwara in the wee hours to pay his obeisance and on return back to home, he found that there were number of firing spots on the main gate of the house and empty cartridges were lying scattered on the floor.  Even the neighbours did not notice any firing sound and did not notice anyone.

In the complaint to the police, none has been pointed behind the incident and also not expressed suspicion against anyone.

The matter was reported to the police who collected the empty cartridges and had initiated the man hunting by intensifying the checking at the nakas.

Gurcharan Singh however stated that they had no enmity with anybody and his son Karnail Singh is living in Chandigarh since long while his younger son is working as Deputy Jail Superintendent at Kapurthala.

He however, urged the police to conduct a special high level investigation to bring the culprits on surface involved in the firing incident.

According to the preliminary observations, SHO Mkhu Harinder Singh said, the empty shells are of .12 bore gun used in firing.
