Two arrested for applying fake registration number

Chandigarh Police apprehended Sahil @ Aseem R/o # 51 Village Raipur Khurs, Chandigarh (age 30 years) at Naka near Water works, Sector -32, Chandigarh on 17.01.2021 and recovered a Maruti car No. CH01AT-1322, using fake number plate, which was stolen from PS-Maulijagran, Chandigarh vide FIR No. 190 dated 21.10.2020 U/s 379 IPC. In this regard, a case FIR No. 13, U/S 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police apprehended Tejpal R/o # 1401, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh (age 24 years) at Naka near Udham Singh Bhawan, Sector -44, Chandigarh on 17.01.2021 and recovered a fiat Palio car No. CH01BA-5167, using fake number plate, which was stolen from PS-Maulijagran, Chandigarh vide FIR No. 06 dated 16.01.2021 U/s 379 IPC. In this regard, a case FIR No. 14, U/S 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for possessing illicit liquor

          Chandigarh Police arrested Manish R/o # 728/07, BDC sector 26, Chandigarh and recovered 28 quarters of Empire No. 1 mota santra country made whisky 180 ml each from his possession near turn police line gate no 1, sector 26, Chandigarh on 17.01.2021. A case FIR No. 14, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. He was later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Vikas kumar R/o # 71, top floor, Bank colony, manimajra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away Complainant’s Indigo car No. HR-03L-6682 from parking of shivalik garden, manimajra on 01-12-2020. A case FIR No. 09, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against violation of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 04, U/S 188, 270 IPC & Section 58 of Disaster Management Act 2005 has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against Ajay Kumar, Manager of Boom Box club SCO No 36-38 sector 9D Chandigarh who served hukka to customers on 16.01.2021 and violated the orders of District Magistrate, UT, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

A case FIR No. 10, U/S 324, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint Sahil Kumar R/o # 492, Phase-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh against Vaneet Kumar and others, who assaulted to complainant with punches and stabbed him near Barber shop, Phase-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh. Complainant got injuries and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
