One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place. Later he bailed out.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Sikandar Satia R/o Flat No.16, MS Enclave, Dhakoli, Distt.-Mohali, Punjab near Shanti Nagar Parking, Manimajra, Chandigarh and recovered 06 injections and 8.2 gram heroin/smack from his possession on 19.11.2018. A case FIR No. 442, U/S 21, 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Sh. Indeervar Chadha R/o # 880, Sector-38/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Bi-Cycle from near his residence on the night intervening dated 15/16.11.2018. A case FIR No. 442, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

        A case FIR No. 441, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-Mani Majra, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Mouli Complex, Chandigarh who alleged that unknown person met her in PNB, SCO No. 809, NAC, MM, Chandigarh on 19.11.2018. He offered to help complainant for depositing her Rs. 45,000/- in account. But he skipped away with said amount from bank. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Criminal Breach of Trust

A case FIR No. 293, U/S 406 IPC has been registered in PS-I.T Park, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Sukhdev Singh R/o # 1438, New Indira Colony, Manimajra, Chandigarh who alleged that Rajiv Tandon R/o # 119, Hargobind Nagar, Sector-10, Govindgarh City, Khanna, Punjab borrowed his car No. CH-01AH-1824 for treatment of her mother at PGI. But alleged person did not return his car.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

Quarrel/Assault

        Sh. Shishan Kumar R/o # 79, Village-Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh alleged that 6-7 unknown persons attacked, beaten, threatened complainant & snatched purse containing Cash Rs.560/-, Insurance and pollution certificate and also damaged complainant’s Motor Cycle No.CH-01BH-0574 from near ATM, CRPF Camp, Village-Hallo Majra, Chandigarh on 19.11.2018. Complainant got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 425, U/S 147, 149, 341, 323, 427, 506, 356, 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Robbery

        Arshad R/o # 636, Charan Singh Colony, Village-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh stated that he is working as gas cylinder supplier in Indane Gas Agency, further he  alleged that while he was delivering gas cylinder at house Sector 52, Chandigarh meanwhile two unknown persons came to him and asked to deliver cylinder at their home. They robbed away purse containing cash Rs. 13,000/-, Aadhar Card & photo from complainant when he reached with them at # 1827, Sector-52, Chandigarh on 19.11.2018. A case FIR No. 407, U/S 392, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Damage to property

A case FIR No. 288, U/S 435 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh on the complaint of Narender R/o # 1992/B, EWS Colony, Village-Dhanas, Chandigarh who alleged that unknown person burnt left side wheel of his Kwid Car No. CH-01BP-1512 while parked near his house on night intervening dated 18/19.11.2018. Investigation of the case is in progress.
