Two days remand have been procured for two bike thief

Chandigarh police has achieved a major achievement by arresting two persons involved in Snatching cases.  A team lead by Insp. Punam Dilawari, SHO PS-26, who is looking into the additional charge of SHO PS-19 nabbed two snatchers/thieves who snatched a purse from # 3279, Sector 21 Chandigarh on 16.11.2018.  Both are also involved in many other cases of snatching and vehicles theft also.  Recently they had stolen a Motorcycle from Sec-15, CHD and the same motorcycle has been used by them in present snatching case and other cases also.  The stolen motorcycle and other articles of snatched purse have been recovered from the accused persons.

Profile: – 1) Shubham is doing training of Lab technician from at Sector 34, CHD and Diploma holder of Lab Technician from College, Sec. 26, UT CHD now resident of New Indira Colony Manimajra.

(2) Pardeep is a well educated and graduate working in call centre.  He is basically belongs to District Rohtak, Haryana.

Modus Operandi: – They are addicted to smoking and drinking and in habit to play gambling etc. To fulfillment of their requirement they started stealing vehicles and further started snatching on stolen vehicle to avoid the identification and arrest from police.

Today both the accused were produced in the court of Sh. Gurkiran Singh JIMC UT, Chandigarh and two days remand have been procured. The investigation the case is in progress.
