International Women’s Day celebrated at Chandigarh Power Distribution Limited , Emphasising Empowerment and Inclusivity

Chandigarh Power Distribution Limited (CPDL) celebrated International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm, honoring the strength, resilience, and achievements of women. The event, attended by approximately 80 female employees, underscored CPDL’s commitment to recognizing and celebrating the invaluable contributions of women in the workplace and beyond.
The celebration commenced with an inspiring address by Shri Arun Kumar Verma, Director, CPDL, who emphasized that true progress is only possible when women are given equal opportunities to thrive in leadership roles. Adding a cultural essence to the celebration, employees showcased their talents through a heartfelt poem on women’s empowerment and a soulful folk song performance. These performances beautifully captured the spirit of the day, leaving the audience inspired and appreciative of the talent within the organization.
