Assault/Attempt to murder

          A case FIR No. 120, U/S 324, 307, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh on the complaint of Dharminder R/o # 489, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh who alleged that two persons Nishu and Rahul both R/o # 806, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh attacked on complainant with sharp weapon at park near complainant’s residence on 20.09.2020. Complainant got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Later both alleged persons namely Nishu age 23 years and Rahul age 19 years have been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault/Quarrel

          A case FIR No. 174, U/S 147, 148, 149, 341, 324 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on the complaint of Manish R/o # 2447, Mauli Jagran Complex, Chandigarh who alleged that persons namely Pali, Happy, Kala, Vinod and Ravi all R/o Rajiv Colony, Sector-17, Panchkula (HR) stabbed complainant near Verka Booth, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on 20.09.2020. Complainant got injured and admitted in Civil Hospital, Manimajra and later referred to GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Vishal Sharma R/o # 1848/A, Sector-43/B, Chandigarh reported that an unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH01AK-8816 parked near his house on the 15-09-2020. A case FIR No. 182, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

Hanuman R/o near ISBT, Sector-43, Chandigarh alleged that two unknown persons on motorcycle snatched away complainant’s mobile phone and cash Rs. 1600/- from him near Tea Stall, ISBT, Sector-43, Chandigarh on 20.09.2020. A case FIR No. 183, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 75, U/S 419, 420 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady R/o Nairobi, Kenya who alleged that Dr. Mohit Dhawan of Avance Dental Clinic cheated complainant regarding providing adequate dentistry work with tourism facility in 2018. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 190, U/S 419, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Nirmal Singh R/o # 2093 Sector-44C, Chandigarh who reported that unknown person called to complainant and cheated total Rs. 1,65,400/- on pretext of providing insurance policy benefit. Investigation of the case is in progress.
