पंचकूला से भाजपा प्रत्याशी ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने कहा कि बरवाला में उपेक्षित गांवों के 15 वर्षो से रूके विकास कार्यों पूरा करवाया गया है यह सब गांव में दी गई अच्छी खासी ग्रांट की बदौलत संभव हुआ है आज इस वजह से गांव फल-फूल रहे हैं। पंचकूला से सटे गांवों को शहर की भांति सुविधाओं से भरपूर करना मेरी प्राथमिकता है और इन गांवों का पिछले पांच वर्षों में काफी विकास किया गया है और विधानसभा चुनाव जीत जाने के बाद गांवों के विकास कार्यों को और अधिक तेजी व संकल्प के साथ आगे लेकर जायेंगे।

यह बात ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने विधानसभा के बरवाला क्षेत्र के विभिन्न गांवों में आयोजित जनसभाओं के दौरान गांववासियों को संबोधित करते हुए कही। पंचकूला से भाजपा प्रत्याशी ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने आज यहां गांव नग्गल, बतौड़़, भरैली, धनधारू में अपना चुनाव प्रचार किया और गांववासियों से मिले, जहां उनका गर्मजोशी के साथ स्वागत किया गया। इस दौरान उन्हें बरवाला स्थित रामदासिया भवन में लड्डुओं के साथ तोला गया और पगड़ी पहनाकर उनका सम्मान किया गया। इस दौरान अधिकतर गांव के सरपंच भी उनके साथ थे। इस बीच गांव नग्गल, बतौड़़ में कांग्रेस पार्टी के कार्यकत्र्ताओं ने अपने सैकड़ों सर्मथकों सहित भाजपा का दामन थामा, जिनका ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने पटका पहनाकर सम्मान किया। वहीं दूसरी ओर गांव बतौड़ में महाराणा प्रताप संगठन, पंचकूला जिला के प्रधान कृष्ण पाल राणा अपने समर्थकों के साथ भाजपा में शामिल हुए।
इस दौरान उन्होंने घोषणा की कि हिमाचल के मुख्यमंत्री जयराम ठाकुर 16 अक्टूबर को गांव बतौड़ में जनसभा को संबोधित करेंगे। उन्होंने जनसभा में भारी संख्या में पहुंचने के लिए गांववासियों से आग्रह किया।

ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने जनसभाओं को संबोधित करते हुए विधानसभा के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में पिछले पांच वर्षो में करवाये गये विकास कार्यो का ब्यौरा देतेे हुए बताया कि बरवाला क्षेत्र के गांवों में पुलों और सडक़ों का जाल बिछा दिया है। जो सडक़ मार्ग पिछले 10-15 सालों से टूटे व उपेक्षित पड़े थे और ग्रामीणों को आने जाने में बहुत कठिनाईयों का सामना करना पड़ता था,अब सभी सडक़ों को नवीकरण के बाद पुलों से जोड़ दिया गया है। गांव बरवाला से हंडेसरा, सुंदरनगर कामी, भरैली तक विभिन्न सडक़ों का निर्माण करवाकर जनता की 15 वर्ष पुरानी मांग को पूरा किया गया है।
उन्होंने आगे कहा कि बरवाला पिछले कई वर्षों से मक्खियों की समस्या से जूझ रहा था जिसे भाजपा की सरकार द्वारा 90 फ़ीसदी हल कर दिया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि आदर्श गांव योजना के अंतर्गत बरवाला गांव में 61.69 लाख रुपए की लागत से गलियां, रास्ते और नालों का निर्माण करवाया गया है। उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी तथा मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल द्वारा देश व हरियाणा में किए गए विकास कार्यों को भी दोहराया। उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा के प्रयास से ही पंचकूला व इससे सटे गांवों में 24 घंटे बिजली उपलब्ध करवाई गई है। उन्होंने बताया ेिक उत्तर प्रदेश व बिहार  के प्रवासी लोगों की धार्मिक भावनाओं के अनुरूप लगभग 2 करोड़ रूपये की लागत से घघग्र नदी के किनारे छठ पूजा घाट का निर्माण भी करवाया है।

उन्होंने गांववासियों से अपील की कि वे भाजपा के पक्ष में 21 अक्टूबर का भारी संख्या में मतदान करें और क्षेत्रवासियों को सरकार द्वारा किए विकास कार्यों के प्रति जागरूक करें।


पंचकूला में की इनडोर बैठकें व नुक्कड़ सभाएं: 

क्षेत्र के गांवों में जनसभाओै व बैठकों के बाद भाजपा प्रत्याशी ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने सेक्टर 8, 4, 6, सेक्टर 20, 12, माता मनसा देवी, राजीव कॉलोनी, तथा एक निजी होटल में विभिन्न जनसभाओं को भी संबोधित किया। इस दौरान उनका भव्य स्वागत किया गया। अपने संबोधन में उन्होंने कहा कि पंचकूला से पिछले विधान सभा चुनाव में उन्हें जनता का विश्वास, समर्थन और सहयोग मिला और चुनाव जीतने के बाद पंचकूला के विकास कार्यो में तेजी आई। उन्होंने जनसभा में अपील की वे एक बार फिर भाजपा के पक्ष में भारी संख्या में मतदान कर उन्हें विजयी बनायें और प्रदेश में मनोहर सरकार बनाने में अपना सहयोग दें ताकि क्षेत्र में विकास कार्यों को और रफ्तार मिल सके।
उन्होंने कहा कि वे पंचकूला को स्मार्ट सिटी बनाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं। पंचकूला में पिछले कई वर्षो से जो विकास कार्य रूके हुए थे, उन्होंने प्राथमिकता के आधार पर उन विकास कार्यो को पूरा करवाया। उन्होंने कहा कि बीते 5 वर्षो में उन्होंने यह प्रयास किया है कि समाज के सभी वर्गों का सहयोग लेकर उपेक्षित पंचकूला को विकसित पंचकूला के रूप में परिवर्तित कर सकें। उन्होंने जनता से अपील की कि वे भाजपा के पक्ष में मतदान कर पंचकूला के चौमुखी विकास में उनका साथ दें।


 भाजपा के युवा मोर्चा ने निकाली जन चेतना साईकिल यात्रा: 

भारतीय जनता पार्टी के युवा मोर्चा,पंचकूला के जिलाध्यक्ष योगेन्द्र शर्मा के नेतृत्व में जनचेतना साईकिल यात्रा सेक्टर 8 स्थित भाजपा चुनाव कार्यालय से निकाली गई जो कि पंचकूला के विभिन्न सेक्टरों की मार्किट से गुजरती हुई सेक्टर 8 में में पहुंच कर संपन्न हुई। इस साईकिल यात्रा को भाजपा व्यापार कोष्ठ के जिला संयोजक रोहित सेन ने हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया। इस रैली में युवा मोर्चा के सैकड़ों कार्यकत्ताओं ने उत्साहपूर्वक हिस्सा लिया। इस मौके पर योगेन्द्र शर्मा ने बताया कि यह साईकिल यात्रा प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के फिट इंडिया कार्यक्र म के अंतर्गत निकाली गई, साथ ही पंचकूला से भाजपा प्रत्याशी ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता द्वारा शुरू करवाई गई की पब्लिक बाईकिंग शेयरिंग परियोजना को प्रोत्साहन देने व इसका प्रयोग करने के लिए नगरवासियों को जागरूक करने के लिए इस यात्रा का आयोजन  किया गया।

PU Foundation Day celebrations

            ‘Youth to become job creator and not job seeker’ said Sh. Anurag Thakur, Union Minister of State for Finance & Corporate Affairs, while addressing the gathering during Panjab University Foundation Day celebrations, here today. He urged the youth to play important role in nation building. The whole World is looking at India since India has more than 65% below the age of 35 and 50% of its population below the age of 25, he added.

            He motivated the young generation of 21st century to take India to greater heights. While appreciating the iconic alumni of PU in every field, urged to take ahead cleanliness drive to make India a clean campus which would be a befitting tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. He urged the youth to re-prioritise their priorities to nurture their capabilities for the societal transformation. He asked the youth to understand their inner strength to create their own fate and contribute in making a strong nation. 

            Sh. Thakur appreciated the tree plantation drive undertaken by PU and he himself planted a tree today before the start of the programme. He also urged the media to create awareness regarding various societal issues related to conservation of water, environment etc. In line with boost to innovation, research and startups by Govt. of India, PU to take lead in this regard. The Union Minister assured of all help to PU for future projects.

            S. Manpreet Singh Badal, Minister of Finance, Government of Punjab in his address said that PU is one of the oldest Universities in India established in 1882 and since then, is shaping the character of Punjab and surrounding areas. The character of State of Punjab in protecting the dignity and honour of India since ages, is shaped through Colleges and University which is also projected through hope, courage and glory for the nation. He urged the youth not to shirk from their responsibilities in taking India ahead. For meaningful society, it is the youth only who can make India or break India.

            Earlier, Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh in his welcome address, listed various achievements of PU including recently received MAKA Trophy for overall sports in India. Talking on the vision of the University, PU VC said that all steps are being taken to make it a world class institution of higher learning by continuous faculty development programmes and upgradation of infrastructure to international standards, inviting eminent scholars, partnerships with top ranking Universities for teaching, research, training and consultancy, encouraging the patenting of research outcome etc.

1st Prize to Centre for Nuclear Medicine, PU

            Centre for Nuclear Medicine, Panjab University, Chandigarh  receivedthe first prize by the International Medical Olympicus Association during the recently held 5th International Medical Olympiad in Greece. 

The work presented was a part of the CSIR funded project awarded to Dr Vijayta D Chadha as Principal Investigator and Co investigators, Dr D K Dhawan and Dr Neelima D Passi. The research involved radiosynthesis of a novel 5α-reductase inhibitor and evaluation of its cancer targeting potential in experimental model of prostate carcinogenesis. Prostate cancer is the second most frequent malignancy after lung cancer in men and the fifth leading cause of death worldwide. The enzyme 5α-reductase converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone which is more potent agonist of androgen receptor and its increased levels lead to enlargement of prostate gland. 5α-reductase inhibitors are a class of drugs that contain the metabolic transformation of testosterone thus lowering the manifestation of diseased condition. Considering the 5α-reductase inhibitory activity of the reported oximes and importance of the ester group in increasing the antiandrogenic property, a potent 5α-reductase inhibitor was synthesized for enhanced selectivity towards prostate tissue. The work was carried by Ms Gousia Jan, Research fellow in the project and was presented by Prof D K Dhawan in the said conference.

Chandigarh Housing Board Cancels Small Flats due to Non-Payment of monthly rent

Chandigarh, 14th October 2019:

During the month of June 2019, 10 days special camps for collection of outstanding rent from Small Flats were organized by the Chandigarh Housing Board at 07 locations i.e Dhanas, Ramdarbar, Maulijagran, Sector-38, West Sector-49, Sector-56 and at  Industrial Area Phase-I.

Further 03 days mini-camps were organized at these locations during the month of July 2019. Special Counters have also been provided in these locations to collect monthly rents. These efforts resulted into recovery of more than Rs. 10 crores during last four months but rent amount more than Rs. 20 crores are yet to be recovered from the allottees of the Small Flats.

 Here it is mentioned that monthly rent of the small flats is Rs. 800/- for first five years and the same is increased by 20% after every five years. Hence the monthly rent is highly subsidized and the allottees should have cleared their dues to avoid the actions like cancellation and eviction etc.

 The Chandigarh Housing Board issued notices to about 5500 allottees during the month of July 2019 but most of them did not clear their pending dues. In about 275 cases, the CHB had issued three notices for cancellation but out of these only 48 allottees cleared their outstanding dues. The detail of remaining 227 Small Flats where repeated Show Cause Notices was uploaded on the website of CHB with the clear mention that in case they fail to clear their dues, their allotment may be cancelled and thereafter they would be evicted from the small flats after following the due process. Subsequently it was decided to give them one opportunity of personal hearing also. However despite all these attempts, most of the allottees have not yet cleared their pending dues.

 In view of above, the Chandigarh Housing board has left with no alternate but to cancel the allotment of those Small Flats who have failed to clear their dues despite repeated opportunities. Accordingly allotments of 09 allottees at Dhanas have been cancelled on 14.10.2019 and allotments of many allottees of Small Flats may be cancelled in next few days due non- payment of their monthly rents.

 All the allottees of Small Flats are again requested to clear their pending dues immediately to avoid cancellation of their flats. Now they can make payments online

विधान सभा चुनावों के पोलिंग अधिकारी तैनात

हरियाणा में विधानसभा चुनाव की तैयारियों को लेकर कालका विधानसभा क्षेत्र में मतदान केंद्रों पर मतदान करवाने के लिये पीठासीन, अतिरिक्त पीठासीन व पोलिंग अधिकारियों को तैनात किया गया है। मतदान प्रक्रिया की जानकारी देने के लिये आज सेक्टर 14 पंचकूला में इन सभी कर्मचारियों व अधिकारियों को दो शिफ्टों में प्रशिक्षण दिया गया है।

इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी एवं उपायुक्त मुकेश कुमार आहूजा ने बताया कि कालका विधानसभा क्षेत्र के तहत 213 पोलिंग स्टेशन आते है, जिनमें सुचारू रूप से मतदान करवाने के लिये पीठासीन, अतिरिक्त पीठासीन व पोलिंग अधिकारियों की ड्यूटी लगाई गई है। सभी कर्मचारियों व अधिकारियों के लिये रहने व खाने की व्यवस्था जिला प्रशासन द्वारा की जायेगी। उन्होंने बताया कि सभी अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों को अच्छी तरह से अपना प्रशिक्षण पूरा करना है और शिष्टाचार के साथ रहकर निष्पक्ष मतदान करवाना है।

  प्रशिक्षण के इंचार्ज ब्लाॅक एजुकेशन अधिकारी पिंजौर अजीत सिंह चुघ ने सभी अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों को ईवीएम को आपस में कैसे लिंक करना है, वीवीपीएटी क्या होती है, प्रथम मतदान अधिकारी के क्या कार्य है, द्वितीय मतदान अधिकारी के क्या प्रमुख कार्य है, कंट्रोल यूनिट को सील करने के लिये कौन-कौन सी सील प्रयोग में लानी है, पीठासीन अधिकारी की घोषणा कब-कब भरी जायेगी, टेंडर वोट क्या है, मतदान केंद्र में बिजली की सप्लाई न होने पर ईवीएम का कैसे प्रयोग करना है और बहुत सी मतदान से संबंधित जानकारियां दी।

  पुलिस उपायुक्त कमलदीप गोयल ने सभी अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों को बताया कि पुलिस पूरी तरह से स्टाफ के साथ चैकस रहेगी। पुलिस कर्मी बिना इजाजत के पोलिंग बूथ पर नहीं आ सकते। पैट्रोलिंग पार्टी तत्पर रहेगी। रात को कोई भी पोलिंग व पुलिस कर्मचारी बूथ को नहीं छोडेगा।

Tube Well, Park, Sector-52, on 13.10.2019. A case FIR No. 209, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling/Satta

Chandigarh Police arrested Satish R/o # 2192, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh, Jai Karan R/o # 190, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh, Mahesh R/o # 123, NIC, MM, Chandigarh and Vinay R/o # 119, NIC, MM, Chandigarh while they were gambling near Jhuggi’s NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh, Chandigarh on 13.10.2019. Total cash Rs. 4100/- was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 222, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Later they were released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Barinder Rai R/o # 1749, Small Flats, Dhanas, Chandigarh Age 45 years, near Small Chowk, Motor Market, Sector-48, Chandigarh and recovered 80 gram heroin from his possession on 13.10.2019. A case FIR No. 130, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 363, U/S 379, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Raj Kumar R/o # 1457/A, Sector-41/B, Chandigarh who alleged that Harjot Singh R/o # 6, Tiwana Complex, Sector-41/B, Buterla, Chandigarh had stolen complainant’s bicycle from near his house on night intervening 26/27.09.2019. Complainant caught alleged person with cycle near Public Toilet, Buterla, Sector-41/B, Chandigarh on 13.10.2019. Alleged person Harjot Singh age 18 years has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Pawan R/o # 129/A, Aman City, Kharar, Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. PB65AL0459 parked near Gate No. 6, Hyatt Hotel, Ph-1, Ind. Investigation of case is in progress.
