Chandigarh Police arrested Vijay R/o # 2899, DMC, Chandigarh, while he was illegally possessing 12 bottles of country liqour near Govt. School, Sector-38-West on 21.08.2019. A case FIR No. 140, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Three passengers of auto namely Dharmender R/o Ram complex, Sector-88, Mohali, (PB) age 27 years, his wife Noor jhan and daughter namely Baby age 9 months all got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 190, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Chaman Lal R/o # 21/1, Samadhi Gate, Manimajra, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Activa Scooter No. CH01BD-6321 namely Harish Sharma R/o # 2531/2, Indira Colony, Manimajra, Chandigarh was driving his vehicle rashly and negligently due to which complainant fell down from motorcycle No.HP23B-5391 and other two persons riders of Activa Scooter No. PB70D3400 namely Rakesh and Motor Cycle No. HR43A6489 namely Pupesh also fell down near Sant Kabir light point on 21.08.2018. They got injuries and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh for treatment. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 191, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
