Holding Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal responsible for the “stalemate” in the national capital, senior Congress member and former Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Friday advised him to approach Prime Minister Narendra Modi and demand full statehood instead of protesting.

“The demand for full statehood can only be made in Parliament as it is the sole authority to change the Constitution,”, Dikshit told reporters in New Delhi at a press conference.

“As Delhi is a union territory, the Lt. Governor and the Chief Minister have no power to change the Constitution. And if Kejriwal wants to make a demand for full statehood, then he should approach Parliament and the Prime Minister,” she said.

The former chief minister said that her party had also demanded full statehood for Delhi.

“But then we realised that Delhi, being the national capital of the country, the city government cannot get control over the Delhi Police and the land.”

Dikshit also accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of protesting to hide their failures on real issues.

“They have failed on every front and to hide their failures they are protesting at the LG’s house,” she alleged.

Dikshit also held Kejriwal responsible for the stalemate in the city, saying: “I have not seen any of the elected government sitting on a protest like this. I don’t know what they are trying to hide and what is their aim behind such protest.

“Even we worked under the BJP government for over six years in Delhi, but there was never such a condition. Meanwhile, between 1998-2004 we converted about one lakh vehicles into CNG, we privatised power, we brought water reforms in t

he city.

“For this stalemate in Delhi, Kejriwal is responsible,” she said.

“This is a fight between the Lt Governor and the Chief Minister, and they should sort it out. Even if the Central government wants to intervene, then the Ministry of Home Affairs can intervene,” she said.

The sit-in protest at Lt. Governor Anil Baijal’s office-cum-residence by Kejriwal, and his cabinet colleagues Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Cabinet ministers Satyendar Jain and Gopal Rai entered the fifth day on Friday.

The hunger strike by Jain entered Day 3 and that by Sisodia entered Day 2.

BJP leaders also held a demonstration at the Delhi Secretariat against Kejriwal’s sit-in protest.

एक दो दिनों से आसमान में फैली धुल से आम जनता परेशान हो रही है। हवा में धुल के कणों के कारण सांस लेना भी दूभर होता जा रहा है। जिसके कारण लोगों को अपने घरों से निकलने से पहले अपने चेहरों को ढकना पड़ता है। इस धुल से लोगों को आँखों में जलन , चमड़ी में खारिश और अन्य कई परेशानियाँ हो रही है। अधिकांश लोग मुंह को ढक कर काम पर निकलने को मजबूर हैं।

डाक्टरों का कहना जिन लोगों को दिल , डीएमए , आँखों या स्किन की बीमारी है वो घर से बहार न निकले। धूल के कारण ज्यादा परेशानी दोपहिया वाहन चालकों को हो रही है। धुल के कण नाक के रास्ते शरीर में पहुँच कई गम्भीर बिमारियों का कारण बन सकते हैं।

वहीं इस धूल का सबसे ज्यादा प्रभाव बच्चों और बुजुर्गों पर पड़ रहा है। बुजुर्गों को साँस लेने में दिक्कत हो रही है। वहीं बच्चों को स्किन से रिलेटेड बीमारी हो सकती है क्योंकि बच्चों की स्किन काफी नाजुक होती है। जरूरी है माता पिता अपने बच्चों को घर से बहार न निकलने दे।

वहीँ नौजवान लोगों को भी इस धूल के कारण काफी मुश्किलें आ रही है। इस धूल भरे मौसम से दुकानदार भी काफी परेशान है वे लोग अपनी दुकाने बंद करके बैठने को मजबूर है इस मौसम के चलते।

Pakistani Taliban Leader Mullah Fazlullah Neutralized

Pakistani Taliban leader Mullah Fazlullah has been killed in a US-Afghan air strike in Afghanistan, a senior Afghan defence ministry official said on Friday, a killing likely to ease tension between the United States and Pakistan.

The US military said in Washington on Thursday it had carried out a strike aimed at a senior militant figure in the eastern Afghan province of Kunar, which is on the Pakistani border, and one US official said the target was believed to be Fazlullah.

Fazlullah was Pakistan’s most-wanted terrorist, notorious for attacks including a 2014 school massacre that killed 132 children and the 2012 shooting of schoolgirl Malala Yousafzai, who was later awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

“I confirm that Mullah Fazlullah, leader of the Pakistani Taliban, has been killed in an joint air operation in the border area of Marawera district of Kunar province,” Mohammad Radmanish, spokesman for Afghan defence ministry, told Reuters, adding the air strike was carried out at about 9 a.m. on Thursday.

Fazlullah’s death could ease strained ties between Islamabad and Washington even as Afghanistan observes an unprecedented three-day ceasefire with the larger Afghan Taliban.

Pakistan is considered key to persuading Afghan Taliban leaders, who Washington believes shelter on Pakistani soil, to open negotiations to end the 17-year-old war in Afghanistan.

In March, the United States offered a $5 million reward for information on Fazlullah.

A member of the Pakistani Taliban told Reuters by telephone on Friday the group was trying to get word from Afghanistan, where most of the Pakistani Taliban fighters are now based.

“We have been hearing since early Friday that our Emir(leader) was martyred along with four other militant commanders in Marawar area of Kunar. They were staying at a house when a drone fired missiles and martyred them,” said Taliban member Maulvi Abdur Rasheed.

Fazlullah emerged as an Islamist leader in the Swat Valley, northwest of the Pakistani capital of Islamabad, more than a decade ago. He was known as “Mullah Radio” for his fiery broadcasts.

He was reviled in Pakistan for the 2014 assault on an army-run school in the city of Peshawar in which Pakistani Taliban gunmen killed at least 132 children.

He is also believed to have ordered the 2012 shooting of then-15-year-old Yousafzai over her advocacy of girls’ education.

The Pakistani Taliban have waged a decade-long insurgency seeking to establish a harsh interpretation of Islamic rule but most of their fighters have now fled to Afghanistan.

They are separate from the Afghan Taliban who ruled Afghanistan for five years before being ousted in a 2001 US-led military action.

परिवार वाद के खिलाफ चले अखिलेश यादव

समाजवादी पार्टी के प्रधान अखिलेश यादव ने परिवार वाद के विरुद्ध अपनी निति का खुलासा किया. इस बार वह कन्नौज से लोकसभा का चुनाव लड़ेंगे, जहाँ से हाल्वक्त उनकी पत्नी डिंपल यादव संसद हैं. उन्होंने भाजपा को भी चुनौती दी है कि वह भी ऐसा कर के दिखाएँ.

आगामी लोकसभा चुनाव को ‘महायुद्ध मानकर बैरी बसपा को भी गले लगा चुके अखिलेश यादव इसके बाद भी कोई रिस्क लेने के मूड में नहीं हैं। यही वजह है कि पिछले चुनावों में मोदी लहर के अप्रत्याशित परिणाम देख चुके सपा के युवा मुखिया ने अपने लिए लोहिया के ‘बंकर को ठिकाना बनाया है। यह कन्नौज की वह धरती है, जिसने समाजवादी विचारधारा के प्रणेता राममनोहर लोहिया से लेकर मुलायम सिंह और उनके बेटे-बहू को सीधे दिल्ली के दरबार तक पहुंचाया।

सपा के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष अखिलेश यादव ने एलान किया है कि 2019 का लोकसभा चुनाव वह कन्नौज से लड़ेंगे। इस लोकसभा सीट से वर्तमान में उनकी पत्नी डिंपल यादव सांसद हैं। जिस तरह मुलायम सिंह यादव ने अपने बेटे अखिलेश के लिए, फिर अखिलेश ने अपनी पत्नी डिंपल को सपाई गढ़ से मैदान में उतारा और जिताया। अब विपरीत परिस्थितियों में पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश सत्ताधारी दल से मुकाबले को पूरी रणनीति सधे कदमों से बना रहे हैं। उनकी नजर में भी यही सीट सबसे सुरक्षित है।

हालांकि परिस्थितियां बदल चुकी हैं। बेशक, यह समाजवादी परिवार के लिए पुरानी मजबूत जमीन रही है लेकिन, इस पर बने उनके ‘सुरक्षित घर की दीवारें अब कमजोर हो चुकी हैं। आशंका के निशान पिछले चुनाव परिणामों ने छोड़े हैं। इस पारंपरिक हो चुकी सीट से 2014 का चुनाव डिंपल यादव महज 19907 वोट से ही जीत पाई थीं। वह पहला झटका था, जो बार-बार मिला। विधानसभा चुनाव में पांच में से चार सीटें भाजपा की झोली में गईं और सपा एक पर सिमट गई। फिर नगर निकाय चुनाव में भी प्रदर्शन निराशाजनक ही रहा। ऐसे में सपा मुखिया अखिलेश को अतिरिक्त मेहनत की जरूरत होगी।

अभी तक तय रणनीति के मुताबिक, लोकसभा चुनाव सपा और बसपा मिलकर लड़ेंगी। इस लिहाज से देखें तो जातीय समीकरण और बसपा का साथ अखिलेश को जीत की उम्मीदें पालने का भरपूर हौसला दे सकता है। पिछले कई चुनावों से बसपा यहां मजबूती से लड़ती रही है। इस लोकसभा क्षेत्र में 16 फीसद यादव, 36 फीसद मुस्लिम, 15 फीसद ब्राह्मण, 10 फीसद राजपूत तो बड़ी तादाद में लोधी, कुशवाहा, पटेल, बघेल जाति का वोट है। यादव के साथ अन्य पिछड़ों को अपने पाले में खींचने में यदि सपा सफल रही तो बसपा के साथ होने से मुस्लिम मतों के बिखराव की आशंकाएं भी हवा हो जाती हैं।

सांसद डिंपल यादव अपने पति के लिए सीट छोड़ रही हैं तो यह इस परिवार के लिए नया नहीं है। इस सीट को इस कुनबे ने ‘पॉलिटिकल टेकऑफ की पट्टी के रूप में पहले भी इस्तेमाल किया है। सफर 1967 से शुरू होता है। पहली बार डॉ. राममनोहर लोहिया ने इस सीट पर राजनीतिक क्षेत्र में किस्मत आजमाई और वह जीते। 1971 के चुनाव में उन्हें कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी सत्यनारायण मिश्रा ने हरा दिया। उसके बाद बारी-बारी से जनता पार्टी, जनता दल, भाजपा, कांग्रेस को जीत मिलती रही। 1998 में पहली फिर सपा प्रत्याशी प्रदीप यादव यहां से जीते तो फिर यह सपा का मजबूत गढ़ बनती चली गई।

1999 का लोकसभा चुनाव कन्नौज से मुलायम सिंह यादव जीते। तब अखिलेश यादव के लिए भी एक ‘सुरक्षित सीट की तलाश शुरू हो चुकी थी। 2000 के उपचुनाव में मुलायम ने बेटे अखिलेश को यहीं से राजनीति में लांच किया और यहीं से पहली बार वह सांसद चुने गए। 2012 के विधानसभा चुनाव तक अखिलेश यादव यहां से सांसद रहे। मुख्यमंत्री बनने के बाद अखिलेश ने फीरोजाबाद सीट पर कांग्रेस के राज बब्बर से हार चुकीं अपनी पत्नी डिंपल को यहां से जिताकर लोकसभा भेजा। अब अखिलेश भी अपनी डेब्यू पिच पर दोबारा लौट रहे हैं।

शहीद औरंगजेब के पिता ने कहा- 72 घंटे की मोहलत देता हूं, वरना खुद लूंगा बदला

जम्मू कश्मीर में गुरुवार की शाम से मातम छाया हुआ है। पहले एक जर्नलिस्ट शुजात बुखारी की आतंकियों ने हत्या कर दी और उसके बाद बहादूर जवान औरंगजेब को भी अगवा कर उसे गोलियों से भून दिया। औरंगजेब को छुट्टी मिली थी और वह अपने घर ईद मनाने के लिए जा रहा था, लेकिन आतंकियों ने उसके बदन गोलियों से छलनी कर आतंकी समीर टाइगर की हत्या का बदला लिया। देश के लिए कुर्बान हुए औरगंजेब के घर में ईद से एक दिन पहले मातम छाया हुआ है और गांव कलामपोरा में सन्नाट पसरा है। इधर औरंगजेब की मां अभी भी अपने बहादूर बेटे के आने के इंतजार में बैठी है, तो उधर बिलखते हुए पिता ने अपने बेटे के हत्यारों का बदला लेने के लिए 72 घंटों का अल्टीमेटम दिया है।
72 घंटों में बेटे की हत्या का बदला लें सरकार… औरंगजेब के पिता ने कहा, ‘मेरे बेटे के हत्यारों के खिलाफ भारत की सरकार क्या कर रही है। अगर सरकार अगले 72 घंटों में कोई एक्शन नहीं लेती है तो मैं खुद औरंगजेब की हत्या का बदला लूंगा।’ औरंगजेब के पिता ने कहा कि उनके बेटे की मौत ना सिर्फ एक परिवार के लिए बल्कि पूरी सेना के लिए भी झटका है, जो जम्मू कश्मीर स्टेट के लिए सेवा कर रहा था। औरंगजेब के पिता ने जम्मू कश्मीर सरकार पर सवाल खड़े करते हुए कहा कि 2003 से लेकर अब तक क्यों आतंकियों का सफाया नहीं हो पाया।

सोचा था मोदी सरकार में परिस्थितियां बदलेगी… अपने बेटे के जाने के दुख में बिलखते हुए पिता ने कहा कि जब मोदी सरकार सत्ता में आई थी, तब हमें लगा था कि परिस्थितियां बदलेगी, लेकिन कुछ नहीं हो सका। औरंगजेब के पिता ने कहा कि जो भी अलगाववादी और जो राजनीति कर रहे हैं, उन्हें कश्मीर से बाहर निकाल देना चाहिए। अपने बेटे की हत्या के खिलाफ गुस्सा निकालते हुए औरंगजेब के पिता ने कहा कि सेना और अन्य सिक्योरिटी एजेंसियों को घाटी में आतंकियों के खिलाफ कड़ा एक्शन लेना चाहिए।

देश सेवा लंबा इतिहास है औरंगजेब का परिवार औरंगजेब स्पेशल आर्मी टीम में शामिल था, जिसने पिछले माह हिजबुल कमांडर समीर टाइगर को गीदड़ की मौत मारा था। तभी से औरंगजेब आतंकियों के निशाना पर था और वे उसका बदला लेना चाह रहे थे। सेना में शामिल होकर देश की सेवा करना औरंगजेब के परिवार का लंबा इतिहास रहा है। औरंगजेब का एक भाई पहले से ही इंडियन आर्मी में शामिल है, तो वहीं 2004 में उनके चाचा ने आतंकियों से लड़ते वक्त देश के लिए अपने प्राण त्याग दिए थे।

Dust Haze Covered Punjab and Haryana for the Third Day Today

A blanket of dust haze covered Punjab and Haryana for the third day today, disrupting flight operations at the airport here.
In view of the prevailing weather condition, some flight operators had yesterday itself announced cancellation of flights scheduled for the day, airport officials said.

Yesterday, over 30 flights were cancelled here as visibility levels dropped considerably due to the dust haze.

Air quality and visibility levels have been hit by the dust haze.

The meteorological department has said that the situation was likely to improve by this evening.

The weather department here said that a ground-level dust storm in Rajastha, with wind speeds up to 40 kmph, had led to a spike in the levels of coarse particles in the air in most parts of Haryana and Punjab including Chandigarh.

Thunderstorm with squall is likely at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab today and tomorrow, according to the MeT Department forecast.

In view of severe dust pollution, the Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) yesterday issued an advisory that no construction activity could be carried out for the next two days in districts falling under the National Capital Region (NCR).

Haryana’s Environment Minister Vipul Goel said the Board was monitoring the pollution level and would advise further necessary steps in consultation with the Environment Pollution (Prevention and Control) Authority and the Central Pollution Control Board.

The air quality in several parts of Punjab and Haryana has also been adversely affected for the past two days, officials said.

Children, the elderly and those who are ill, especially the ones facing respiratory issues, should take precautions and avoid going out in view of the prevailing weather conditions, health officials have advised.

The Rajasthan police traced the missing French woman to a farmhouse in Alwar on Thursday evening. It announced this through a tweet.

“Good news! French National Ms Gaelle Chouteau is safe & secure. ‪@AlwarPolice SHO Sri Sunil Jangid traced her in a farmhouse in Chaupanki PS area in an intensified search operations after alerted by hon ‪@FranceinIndia. We shall keep you posted,” Rajasthan police tweeted from its official handle, @PoliceRajasthan.

Earlier, the Ajmer police formed three teams to trace the 21-year-old French woman who had gone missing 13 days ago. She was last seen at a bus stand in Pushkar on June 1. The police action came a day after external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj assured the woman’s friends on Twitter that the authorities would ‘trace her’ soon.

The woman, Gaelle Chouteau, went off the radar soon after she checked out of a Pushkar hotel on June 1. Information gathered from campaigns launched by her friends and relatives on Facebook and other social media platforms revealed that she had last communicated with them on June 1, while she was leaving the town.

“We traced her to a farmhouse in Sare Kalan village. She’s staying there since June 1. From Pushkar, she came straight to this farmhouse,” said Bhiwadi deputy superintendent of police Siddhant Sharma.

Earlier, Ajmer superintendent of police Rajendra Singh Chaudhary said, “We have formed three teams to look for clues on the missing lady.”

“We have despatched the teams to Jaipur and also Jodhpur, which was the last place she stayed before coming here. According to the hotel owner, she had enquired about Tapukara in Alwar before checking out,” the police officer said.

According to Pushkar station house officer Mahaveer Sharma, footage from a CCTV camera installed in the vicinity of the Pushkar hotel showed her going towards the bus stand at around 6.36 am. “She checked out of the hotel at 5.45 am,” he added. “Her mobile phone is switched off and technical investigation is going on,” he added.

A report submitted to Chaudhary states that the woman had enquired about ways to reach Tapukara in Alwar before she went missing. “Tapukara is big industrial area adjoining Bhiwari in Alwar. Many foreigners work in that place and she may have gone there with an intention to meet somebody she knows,” the superintendent of police said.

However, Chaudhary admitted that he did not know if she actually reached Tapukara because no C form – a document that has to be mandatorily submitted at the local police station upon a foreign national’s arrival in an area– was found in Alwar police’s possession.

मनोअर पर्रीकर स्वास्थ्य लाभ लेकर वापिस लौटे

गोवा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर पर्रीकर अमेरिका में तीन माह के इलाज के बाद गुरुवार को घर लौट आए. पर्रिकर (62) अग्नाशय संबंधी बीमारी के इलाज के लिए इस साल मार्च से अमेरिका में थे. मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालय के एक अधिकारी ने बताया कि पर्रिकर अमेरिका से मुंबई पहुंचे और उसके बाद दूसरी उड़ान से पणजी पहुंचे.

बीमारी का पता चलने के बाद पर्रिकर को 15 फरवरी को मुंबई के लीलावती अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था. उन्हें 22 फरवरी को अस्पताल से छुट्टी मिल गई थी. इसके बाद वह गोवा लौटे थे और उसी दिन विधानसभा में बजट पेश किया था. हालांकि पानी की कमी के कारण उन्हें 25 फरवरी को गोवा मेडिकल कॉलेज एवं अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था. उन्हें चार दिन बाद अस्पताल से छुट्टी मिल गई थी.

मुख्यमंत्री चिकित्सा जांच के लिए पांच मार्च को फिर से मुंबई गए, जहां से उन्हें अमेरिका रेफर कर दिया गया था. वह सात मार्च को अमेरिका के लिए रवाना हुए थे.

 

गुरुग्रं को मिला पोस्टल चालान सिस्टम

गुरुग्राम में अब कोई भी व्यक्ति रेड लाइट जंप या ट्रैफिक नियमों की उल्लंघन करेगा तो उसका चालान तुरंत कट जाएगा। इतना ही नहीं कंप्यूराइज्ड तरीके से चालान काटने के बाद आपके घर भेज दिया जाएगा। गुरुग्राम पुलिस ने ट्रैफिक व्यवस्था को बनाने के लिए और ट्रैफिक नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वालों पर नकेल कसने के लिए इस स्मार्ट प्लान को तैयार किया है।

गुरुग्राम में अब रेड लाइट पर लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरे खुद उस गाड़ी की नंबर प्लेट को स्कैन करेंगे जो ट्रैफिक नियमों का उल्लंघन करेंगी। उसके बाद चालान को डाक के माध्यम से व्यक्ति के घर के पते पर भेज दिया जाएगा।

पूर्व आईएएस अधिकारी प्रदीप कासनी के कांग्रेस में शामिल होने की खबर से हरियाणा में राजनीतिक चर्चाओं का बाजार गर्म हो गया है। प्रदीप कासनी की कार्यशैली के कायल रहे हरियाणा के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री अनिल विज ने कासनी के इस फैसले को निजी बताकर चर्चाओं पर विराम लगाने का प्रयास करते हुए कहा कि यह उनका अपना फैसला है। वह किसी भी दल में जाएं वो उन पर निर्भर करता है।
बता दें, राहुल गांधी की अगुवाई में कांग्रेस का हाथ थामने वाले हरियाणा के पूर्व आईएएस अधिकारी प्रदीप कासनी अब पक्के कांग्रेसी हो गए हैं। दिल्ली में कांग्रेस के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष अशोक तंवर के नेतृत्व में राहुल गांधी से मुलाकात करके कासनी आधिकारिक रूप से कांग्रेस में शामिल हो गए।
खेल विभाग के प्रिंसिपल सेक्रेटरी अशोक खेमका द्वारा बड़ा खुलासा किया गया है। मीडिया में आई खबरों के अनुसार प्रदेश में नई खेल नीति आने के बाद खेल विभाग के अधिकारियों द्वारा अपने चहेतों पर इनामों की बरसात करके विभाग को लाखों का चूना लगाया है। इस खुलासे के सवाल पर बोलते हुए खेल मंत्री अनिल विज ने कहा कि इस मामले में उनकी अशोक खेमका से बात हुई है, उन्हें कहा गया है कि इस मामले में कहीं पर कोई गलती हुई होगी तो उसकी जांच करवाई जाएगी और दोषियों पर सख्त से सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
