Gold for Moti Ram Arya Sr Sec Model School

The students of Moti Ram Arya Sr Sec Model School Sec 27 CHD participated in the 42nd CHD State Gymnastics Championship 2018 held on 1st and 2nd June 2018 in Sec 7 Sports Complex. The students won various medals and made the school proud.

Prabhjot Kaur is All Rounder Best Rythmic Gymnast in the Senior Category. She has won 4 gold and 1 silver medals. In the under -12 category, Kiranjot Kaur is also declared as the All Rounder Best Artistic Gymnast. She has won          2 gold and 1 silver medals. Harshjot Kaur in Under -10 is declared as the All Rounder Best Artistic Gymnast . She has won 2 gold and 1 silver medals. While other students have also won medals-Aman has got 1 bronze medal , while Prince Pal has won 1 silver and 1 bronze and Kanak Jeenah has won 2 bronze medal in Artistic Gymnast.

The hard work and practice of the students has helped them win and the Principal Mrs Saroj Savant congratulated the students and for their persistent efforts and wished them good luck for their future endeavors as well.

Cleanliness drive at N Choe

With arrest of 4 police cracked 13 cases

In a major breakthrough the Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police under the supervision of Inspector Amanjot Singh is able to arrest the most infamous persons involved in recent snatchings and auto lifting from Chandigarh.

Ajay @ Modi is previously involved in more than 40 cases of dacoity, robbery, snatching and vehicle lifting and Crime Branch of Chandigarh police was constantly keeping surveillance on him.

Ajay @ Modi was convicted for four years in case FIR No. 42/26.2.2006 u/s 399,402,411,473 IPC and 25/54/59 Arms Act PS-11, Chandigarh and he is presently on bail.

On the basis of interrogation of accused Ajay @ Modi two more persons who were juvenile were apprehended on 31.5.2018 and from them two stolen motor cycles were recovered from both of them.

Further one more accused namely Amit @ Abdul was arrested on 3.6.2018 and from him one mobile phone was recovered. Amit @ Abdul has a tainted past and was previously in murder and robbery cases and presently on bail.

The interrogation of accused Ajay @ Modi revealed that he committed approximately 15 snatchings in the area of Mohali, Barmajra and Mullanpur, out of these snatching 7 mobile phones were recovered which were taken into possession under section 102 Cr.P.C.

From these four persons total 13 cases were worked out. Out of which 2 are of snatching, 1 of theft and 10 are of vehicle theft.

Special drive against consuming liquor at public place was carried out at different parts of the city in which total 07 cases U/S 68-1 (B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC got registered.

 In continuation of a special drive against consuming liquor at public place, yesterday, the drive was carried out at different parts of the city. Under this drive total 07 different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC got registered in different police stations of Chandigarh in which total 08 persons were arrested while consuming liquor at public place. All later on bailed out. The detail of police Stations in which cases U/S 68-1 (B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 got registered:- PS-03 = 1 case, PS-17 = 1 case, PS-MM = 1 case, PS-36 = 2 cases, PS-36 = 2 cases.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

One apprehended for theft

A girl resident of Punjab University, Chandigarh alleged that someone stolen away complainant’s cycle from parking in front of Boys Hostel No. 3, Punjab University, Sector 14, Chandigarh on 03.06.2018. A case FIR No. 173, U/S 379 added 411 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Later one boy was apprehended in this case and sent to juvenile home. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for endangering life and personal safety of others

        A case FIR No. 215, U/S 336 IPC & 25-27-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint ofAmandeep Singh R/o # 5928, Urban Estate, Patiala (PB) who alleged that Gagandeep Singh R/o Gali No. 1, Baba Banda Singh Colony, Banur (PB) fired bullet near Mortuary, GMCH-32, Chandigarh on 03.06.2018. Gagandeep Singh has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Sh. Shesh Narain R/o # 2679, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away his one laptop from his auto while parked near Mandi, Mauli Jagran on 01-06-2018. A case FIR No. 153, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Sh. Ramesh R/o # 3269, Sector-21-D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away his WagonR car No. CH-03R-6421 while parked near his residence on 03-06-2018. A case FIR No. 169, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Rohit R/o # 1834, Sector-15, Panchkula (HR) reported that unknown person stolen away his Splendor M/Cycle No. HR-03L-7883 from MW Market, Phase-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 03-06-2018. A case FIR No. 167, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Ashwani Kumar R/o # 864/1, Sector 41-A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away his PB-70C-1376 while parked near his residence on night intervening 31-05/01-06-2018. A case FIR No. 234, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 214, U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Gurwinder Singh R/o # 3512, Sector-37-D, Chandigarh against driver of car No. HR-02AB-5246 namely Karan Singh R/o # 179, Ward No. 3, Adarsh Colony, Balongi, Distt. Mohali (PB) who hit to three persons namely Gagan Gautam R/o # 41, Ward No. 51, Kurali, Distt. Mohali, (PB) Ayush R/o # 90, Ward No. 6, Kurali, Distt. Mohali (PB) and Om Parkash R/o Room No. 4, Vill.ge Kajheri, Chandigarh near Kisan Bhawan Chowk on 03-06-2018. All got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh, later referred to PGI, Chandigarh where Gagan Gautam declared dead. Accused arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady resident of Sector-35, Chandigarh reported that unknown persons on Motor Cycle snatched away complainant’s purse containing cash Rs. 450/-, ATM card, documents near H.No. 2179, Sector 35C, Chandigarh on 03.06.2018. A case FIR No. 216, U/S356, 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

36 साल बाद जयपुर निवासी गजानंद शर्मा के जीवित होने का पता लगा

आखिर 36 साल बाद जयपुर निवासी गजानंद शर्मा के जीवित होने की खबर सुनकर उसकी 68 बर्षीया पत्नि मखनी देवी की आंखो मे चमक आ गयी लेकिन पल भर मे यह सुनते ही चमक हताशा मे बदल गयी जब सुना कि वह पाकिस्तान के लाहौर जेल मे पिछले 36 बर्षों से बन्द है! बताया जाता है कि गजानन्द शर्मा मजदूरी करता था कि अचानक ही 1982 मे एक दिन गायब हो गया जिसकी काफी तलाश करने पर भी नही मिला तथा उसकी पत्नि मखनी देवी थक हार कर बैठ गयी तथा मेहनत मजदूरी करके दोनो बच्चो को जो कि उस समय करीब 15 वर्ष व12 वर्ष के थे के पालन पोषण मे लग गयी !अब करीब 36 वर्ष गुजर जाने के बाद जयपुर ग्रामीण एस पी के जरिये सामोद थाने पर केन्द्रीय ग्रह मंत्रालय से गजानन्द की राष्ट्रीयता की पहचान के दस्तावेज पहुंचने गजानन्द के जीवित होने एवं पाकिस्तान के लाहौर जेल मे बन्द होने की सूचना मिली ! अभी तक यह जानकारी नही मिली कि गजानन्द पाकिस्तान पहुंचा कैसे ? धरोहर बचाओ समिति के सरंक्षक भारत शर्मा ने गजानन्द शर्मा के परिजनो से मिलकर परिवारजनो को आशश्वस्त किया कि गजानन्द की रिहाई के लिये हर संभव मदद की जायेगी इसी कडी धरोहर बचाओ समिति के संरक्षक भारत शर्मा के नेतृत्व मे शहर के विभिन्न संगठनो ने कैडिल मार्च निकाला जिसमे गजानन्द की पत्नि सहित परिजन शामिल हुये तथा विदेश मन्त्री सुषमा स्वराज से गजानन्द की शि्घ्र रिहाई के लिये कार्यवाही करने की मांग की साथ ही भाजपा के प्रभारी अविनाश राय खन्ना जयपुर सांसद रामचरण बोहरा ने भी परिजनो से मिलकर विदेश मन्त्री सुषमा स्वराज से मिलकर शीघ्र रिहाई के प्रयास करने का आश्वासन दिया

गृह मंत्रालय कि रोहिंग्याओं को लेकर अलर्ट जारी

गृह मंत्रालय ने सभी राज्य सरकारों से मयन्मार  से आए रोहिंग्याओं समेत गैर कानूनी ढंग से राज्य में प्रवेश करने वालों के खिलाफ कदम उठाने को कहा है। जम्मू-कश्मीर के चीफ सेक्रेटरी समेत अन्य राज्यों को लिखे गए पत्र में गृह मंत्रालय के जॉइंट सेक्रेटरी ने कहा कि इस मामले की समीक्षा करें और इसे रोकने के लिए जरूरी कदम उठाने को कहें। उन्होंने कहा कि इस बारे में जल्द रिपोर्ट पेश की जाए।
जम्मू-कश्मीर में सबसे ज्यादा संख्या
गृह मंत्रालय रोहिंग्याओं को लेकर काफी चिंतित है, इसके अलावा ऐसे लोग भी चिंता का कारण हैं, जो गैर कानूनी ढंग से देश में रह रहे हैं। इनमें जम्मू-कश्मीर में रह रहे लोगों की संख्या काफी ज्यादा है। अपने पत्र में गृह मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि गैर कानूनी ढंग से देश में रह रहे लोग देश की सुरक्षा के लिए बड़ी चुनौती हो सकते हैं।’ पत्र में कहा गया है कि इन लोगों के देश विरोधी गतिविधियों में शामिल होने की खबर भी कई बार मिल चुकी है।
गृह मंत्रालय ने दिए ये निर्देश
* गृह मंत्रालय ने राज्यों को जो निर्देश दिए हैं, उनमें कहा कि शरणार्थियों को चिन्हित जगहों पर रखा जाए।
राज्य की पुलिस और सुरक्षा एजेंसी इनकी गतिविधियों पर कड़ी नजर रखे।
* गृह मंत्रालय ने निर्देश दिया कि इन रोहिंग्या मुस्लिम शरणार्थियों की पहचान होनी चाहिए। उसका नाम, जन्म की तारीख, जन्म स्थान, माता-पिता का नाम, किस देश से हैं सबकी जानकारी एकत्र होनी चाहिए।
* गृह मंत्रालय ने यह भी कहा कि गैर कानूनी रूप से देश में घुसे शरणार्थी की बायोमैट्रिक पहचान लेनी चाहिए, जिससे ये लोग आगे अपनी पहचान न बदल सकें।
* गृह मंत्रालय के निर्देश के मुताबिक इन लोगों से ली गई जानकारी को विदेश मंत्रालय के जरिए म्यांमार सरकार के साथ साझा किया जाए, जिससे इनकी नागरिकता का सही पता चल सके. ताकि बाद में इन्हें उनके देश वापस भेजने में दिक्कत न हो।

ग्रेनेड हमले में दो पुलिस के जवान और आठ नागरिक घायल

दक्षिणी कश्मीर के शोपियां जिले में सोमवार को पुलिस वाहन पर आतंकवादियों के ग्रेनेड हमले में दो पुलिस के जवान और आठ नागरिक घायल हो गए।

आधिकारिक सूत्रों ने बताया कि आतंकवादियों ने बटपोरा के समीप शोपियां थाने की पुलिस के वाहन पर ग्रेनेड फेंका। हमले में दो पुलिस जवान और आठ नागरिक घायल हुए हैं। घायलों को तत्काल स्थानीय अस्पताल ले जाया गया। एक घायल की गंभीर स्थिति को देखते हुए उसे श्रीनगर के अस्पताल रेफर कर दिया गया।

हमले के बाद आतंकवादी भाग निकले। मौके पर पहुंचे सुरक्षाबलों ने आतंकवादियों को गिरफ्तार करने के लिए खोज अभियान शुरू कर दिया है।

राजस्थान समेत कई राज्यों में मौसम विभाग कि चेतावनी

नई दिल्ली। मौसम विभाग ने उत्तर पूर्वी राज्यों और महाराष्ट्र में रविवार को भारी बारिश और राजस्थान में धूल भरी आंधी चलने की आशंका जताई है।

मौसम विभाग ने कहा है कि उत्तर और मध्य भारत में आज मौसम के गर्म रहने और मध्य प्रदेश के कुछ इलाकों में शुष्क रहने के आसार हैं।
भारतीय मौसम विभाग ने पश्चिम बंगाल, सिक्किम, नगालैंड, मणिपुर, मिजोरम, त्रिपुरा और महाराष्ट्र में छिटपुट स्थानों पर भारी बारिश की आशंका जताई है। राजस्थान में कुछ स्थानों पर धूल भरी आंधी चलने की संभावना है।
विभाग की ओर से जारी परामर्श में कहा गया है, ‘उत्तराखंड, उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश, विदर्भ, छत्तीसगढ़, झारखंड, पश्चिम बंगाल और सिक्किम, महाराष्ट्र, आंध्र प्रदेश, तेलंगाना, कर्नाटक और ओडिशा में गरज के साथ छींटे पड़ने और धूल भरी हवा चलने एवं बिजली चमकने के आसार हैं।’

डिप्टी से मिलने सी एम् दिल्ली पंहुचे

यूपी के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ डिप्टी सीएम केशव प्रसाद मौर्य से मिलने दिल्ली के एम्स अस्पताल पहुंचे। केशव प्रसाद मौर्य को बीती 25 मई को मस्तिष्क में घाव के चलते एम्स में भर्ती कराया गया था और हाल ही में उनकी न्यूरो सर्जरी हुई है। सियासी गलियारों में चर्चा थी कि डिप्टी सीएम के अस्पताल में भर्ती होने के बावजूद सीएम योगी उनसे मिलने नहीं आए। सोमवार को सीएम योगी ने एम्स पहुंचकर केशव प्रसाद मौर्य से मुलाकात की और उनका हाल-चाल जाना।

कैराना लोकसभा उपचुनाव में हार के बाद पहली बार दिल्ली पहुंचे योगी आदित्यनाथ शाम को 4 बजे भाजपा अध्यक्ष अमित शाह से भी मुलाकात करेंगे। माना जा रहा है कि यूपी में एक लोकसभा और एक विधानसीट सीट पर हुए उपचुनाव में मिली हार और 2019 के लोकसभा चुनावों को लेकर अमित शाह और सीएम योगी के बीच चर्चा हो सकती है। गौरतलब है कि कैराना और नूरपुर में मिली हार के बाद भाजपा के कई विधायक सीएम योगी को लेकर सवाल खड़े कर चुके हैं।

रविवार को यूपी सरकार में कैबिनेट मंत्री ओमप्रकाश राजभर ने कैराना और नूरपुर में मिली हार के बाद सीएम योगी आदित्यनाथ पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा था, ‘भाजपा ने 2017 का यूपी विधानसभा चुनाव केशव प्रसाद मौर्य का चेहरा सामने रखकर लड़ा था और चुनाव जीतने के बाद योगी आदित्यनाथ को सीएम बना दिया। यूपी के पिछड़े वर्ग ने इस उम्मीद के साथ भाजपा को वोट दिया कि मौर्य सीएम बनेंगे। पिछड़े वर्ग की नाराजगी के चलते ही भाजपा को उपचुनावों में लगातार हार का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।’
