One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

One case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place. Later they bailed out.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Action against Gambling/Satta

Chandigarh Police arrested Sant Ram R/o # 433/B, EWS Colony, Village-Dhanas, Chandigarh and Udey Singh /o # 499/B,  EWS Colony, Village-Dhanas, Chandigar while they were gambling at Masjid Ground, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh and recovered cash Rs. 4,170/- from their possession. A case FIR No. 284, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Later all were bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

A case FIR No. 327, U/S 147, 148, 149, 323, 506, 452 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint ofSimarpal Singh R/o # 924, Sector-25, Chandigarh who alleged that Harish, Goga, Biku, Monu and Sonu abused, beaten and threatened complainant near his residence on 07.11.2018. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Two arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Kulwinder Singh R/o # 2986, Village-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh from near Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Village-Maulijagran, Chandigarh and recovered 11 Gm Heroine from his possession. A case FIR No. 329, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maulijagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Anil Kumar R/o # 2202, Sector-4, Distt.-Karnal, Haryana from near cow shed, Sector-45, Chandigarh and recovered 7 Gm Heroine from his possession. A case FIR No. 398, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Sh. Anirudh Gaud R/o # 1232, Top Floor, Sector-15/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away 01 laptop, 01 watch, cash Rs.1,000/- and some clothes from his residence on 06.11.2018. A case FIR No. 328, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Dinesh Kumar R/o # 5615, Sector-56, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Bicycle from near his residence on 08.11.2018. A case FIR No. 431 U/s 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Satbir Singh R/o # 204, Village-Daria, Chandigarh reported that unknown person broken window panes of Duster car No.CH-01AY-3575, car No. CH-03J-5492 & Car No.HR-70-5933 and also stolen away battery from Duster car No.CH-01AY-3575 and auto No.CH-01T-7254 while they were parked in plot near Hotel Omni, Village-Daria, Chandigarh on night intervening dated 07/08.11.2018. A case FIR No. 328, U/S 379, 427 IPC has been registered in PS-Industrial Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Ayub Khan R/o # 1908, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that 2/3 unknown boys stolen away stepni of complainant’s car No.CH-03Z-4005 and also broken its backside glass while it was parked near his residence on night intervening dated 07/08.11.2018. A case FIR No. 284, U/S 379, 427, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-I.T Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

          A case FIR No. 285, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-I.T Park, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ram Lal Goyal R/o # 1464, Sec-42, Chandigarh alleged that a lady resident of Village-Kishangarh, Chandigarh cheated Rs. 90,000/- from complainant regarding investment in kitty. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 286, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-I.T Park, Chandigarh on the complaint of lady resident of NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh who alleged that Baljit Singh R/o # 19/B, Simran Apartment, E-Vihar near water tank, Village-Baltana, Punjab taken Rs,6500/- each from complainant and other ladies regarding opening of account and providing loan of Rs.5 lacs to each. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 398, U/S 420, 120/B IPC, 66C IT Act 2000 has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Subhash Gupta R/o # 544/B, Sector-35/A, Chandigarh who alleged that he received phone call from customer care of Naptol Company, No. 11 Conpos, Kabra Galaxy Star 1 HS, Brahmand, Azad Nagar, Thane West that complainant has won first price (Tata Safari) and amount Rs. 12,40,148/- on 18.08.2016. They further asked complainant to deposit the registration charges and cheated complainant Investigation of the case is in progress.

          A case FIR No. 327, U/S 435 IPC has been registered in PS-Industrial Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Mohan Yadav R/o # 167/C, Block-L, Colony No.4, Chandigarh who alleged that unknown person set fire on his Motor cycle No. CH-21(T)-1221 while parked near his house on dated 07-11-2018. Accident

A case FIR No. 436, U/S 279 IPC & 185 MV has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh on the complaint of Jawahar Sharma R/o # 338, Phase-1, Panchkula, Haryana alleged that driver of Innova Car No. PB-01A-0551 namely Ashok Sharma R/o # 3821, Mauli Complex, Chandigarh hit to complainant’s Swift Dzire Car No. HR-03L-5578 near Village-Mauli Jagran Turn, Chandigarh on 08.11.2018. Investigation of the case is in progress.
