Four arrested for consuming liquor at public place

Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh against four persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place. Later they bailed out.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Theft

Sh. Rahul R/o # 117, New Police Line, Sector-26, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s cycle from near Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh 04-10-2018. A case FIR No. 197, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Sh. Swaran Singh R/o # 2615/2, Sector-47C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Hero Honda Splendor Motor Cycle No. PB65W-3145 while parked near Nehru Park Parking, Sector-22, Chandigarh on 01-10-2018. A case FIR No. 324, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Vinod Sharma R/o # 3102/2 Sector-41/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH-03U-5104 while parked near Mandi, Sector-34, Chandigarh on 30-09-2018. A case FIR No. 356, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
