Action against Gambling/Satta

Chandigarh Police arrested Aslam R/o # 1611, Kumhar Mohalla, Village Burail, Chandigarh Age 58 years, while he was playing satta near light point, Sector 33/45, Chandigarh. Total cash Rs. 32,740/- was recovered from his possession. A case FIR No. 340, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Sh. Ajay Kumar R/o # 3096/1, HBC Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away Complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH01AG-8637 while parked near Kissan Mandi, Milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh on 18-09-2018. A case FIR No. 249, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Ramit R/o # 49, Ward No. 9, Naraingarh, Distt. Ambala, (HR) reported that unknown person stolen away Complainant’s M/Zen car No. CH03S-1708 while parked near H.No. 555, Sector 40A, Chandigarh on night intervening 19/20-09-2018. A case FIR No. 382, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Attempt to murder/Arms Act

        A case FIR No. 365, U/S 307, 34 IPC & 25-27-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Ph-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh who alleged that Ram Kumar, Munna & Gorav fired bullet upon complainant’s husband Bunty R/o # 404, Ph-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh near his residence on 20.09.2018. Bunty got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Sh. Manoj Jaggi R/o # 647, Sector-38A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away bag containing ATM cards, credit card, mobile phone & cash about Rs. 28,000-30,000/-, after broken window pane of his car while parked near Sanatan Dharam Mandir, Sector 38, Chandigarh and on 20-09-2018. A case FIR No. 381, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 195, U/S 279, 337, 338 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the statement of Sh. Suresh Kumar R/o # 143, Village Maloya, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of car CH01AE-7426 namely Sunil Gupta R/o Jujhar Nagar, Mohali (PB) hit to complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH21(T)–5085 near Snehalya, Maloya,Chandigarh on 18.09.2018. Complainant and his friend Mahipal, Rajbir Singh got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
