Prime Minister, Narendra Modi today digitally transferred more than Rs 21 thousand crore to the bank accounts of more than 10 crore farmers of the country as 11th instalment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana during the ‘Garib Kalyan Sammelan’ at Shimla today. This also includes more than Rs 4 crore to 21,247 farmers of the district Panchkula. On this occasion, the Prime Minister also interacted with the beneficiaries of various centre government schemes through video conferencing. The event organized under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was telecast live in all districts of the country.
In the same series, a district level programme was organized at PWD Rest House, Sector-1 Panchkula where Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh Gian Chand Gupta and former Union Minister of State and MP Ambala Lok Sabha Sh Rattan Lal Kataria interacted with the beneficiaries of various schemes and also took feedback from them. Deputy Commissioner, Sh Mahavir Kaushik and Mayor Municipal Corporation, Sh Kulbhushan Goyal were also present on the occasion.

Gupta said that it is the endeavor of Prime Minister, Sh Narendra Modi that the person standing last in the queue get the benefit of various welfare schemes first so as to bring them in the mainstream and also to enhance their standard of living. He said that the Government has implemented several schemes for the welfare and poor and those belonging to poor sections of the society, but many beneficiaries remained deprived of the benefit due to lack of information. It is the responsibility of the officers of the concerned department to ensure that the eligible beneficiaries get the benefits of the schemes on time so that the aim with which the Government has implemented the schemes for the welfare of poor welfare could be achieved, he added.
Gupta asked the concerned officers to ensure that the eligible beneficiaries do not have to make frequent rounds of offices to get the benefit of schemes. For this, the beneficiaries should be informed about the scheme and documents required for availing the benefit of the schemes during the first visit. After submitting the necessary documents, the concerned officers should ensure giving the eligible person, the benefit of scheme, within the time prescribed under the Right to Service Act .
MP Rattan Kataria said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several schemes have been implemented by the Central Government for the welfare of the poor and weaker sections of the society.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Manita Malik, Chief Executive Officer of Zila Parishad Gagandeep Singh, CTM Gaurav Chauhan, Additional Chief Executive Officer of Zila Parishad Pulkit Malhotra, BJP District President Ajay Sharma, General Secretary Virender Rana, officers of various departments were also present.
