Chandigarh Police is all ready for the secure and joyful 71st Independence Day. Police has launched the security check drive throughout the city. All busy places ISBT 43, Bus stand sector 17, Plaza sector 17 Railway Station, Malls etc. are being checked with the help of ladies police force, dog squad and bomb squad.

Cops are checking the luggage of the passengers, vendors, baggage to avoid any unpleasant happening before or at the time of Independence Day celebrations.

Inspector General of police appreciated the people of chandigarh for their cooperative and appealed public to be calm and more cooperative .
