Drug Disposal Committee constituted

Today, i.e., 14.09.2021, Drug Disposal Committee constituted by W/Director General of Police, U.T, Chandigarh comprising of Manoj Kumar Meena, IPS, SP Crime & HQ as Chairman, Ms. Neena Kakkar, Superintendent, NCB, Chandigarh & Sh. Udaypal Singh, CPS, DSP Crime has disposed-off the contraband drugs of 13 NDPS Act cases of Police Station, Sector-17 in which Heroin, Poppy Husk, Ganja, Smack & Injections were seized. Today, seized drugs of Police Station, Sector-17 of Chandigarh were disposed-off as these were found fit for disposal by Drug Disposal Committee after scrutinizing of all details. The drugs were disposed-off at M/s Punjab Chemicals, & Crop Protection Limited, Derabassi, Mohali, Punjab through incinerator installed in the company. The mandatory drug disposal process requirements were complied with by the Drug Disposal Committee. The quantity of drugs disposed in 13 NDPS Act cases is as under:-
