One arrested under NDPS Act

         Chandigarh Police arrested Rahul @ Ramesh R/o # 185, Village Dadumajra, Chandigarh (Age 38 Years) recovered 18.60 gm heroin from his possession, from t-point, Sector 33 C&D near park on 06.09.2021. A case FIR No. 142, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

          A case FIR No. 172, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Vivek Kumar R/o # 85, Sector 28/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stole away complainant cash Rs. 15-20000/-, 15-20 kg iron and 10-15 kg brass from Himalaya Coal Depot, Sector 28 on 03.09.2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Arrest in theft case

          Sh. Keshav Ram Gupta R/o # 125, NAC, Manimajra, Chandigarh (age 85 years) reported that Vijay Shukla, who stole away complainant gold bangle from his residence on 07.09.2021. A case FIR No. 153, U/S 381 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Later on accused person namely Vijay Shukla R/o # 1368, Vikash nagar, Maulijagra, Chandigarh arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Murder

          A case FIR No. 71, U/S 302, 328, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Sector-40/C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who murdered her husband namely Brijesh Negi at Sector 63, Chandigarh on 04.07.2020. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 173, U/S 279, 337, 338 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ram Singh of Police Station, Sec-17, Chandigarh against Tejinder Singh driver of Canter No. CH01TA9502 and Gurbaj Singh driver of Canter No. CH01TA3502 both stuck with each other from TPT light point towards Grain market Chowk on 06.09.2021. Driver namely Tejinder Singh and lady constable namely Pavita got injuries and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Anil Madan R/o # 3318 2nd Floor Sector 15/D, Chandigarh reported that someone stole away his Activa Scooter No. CH01BM-1574 near his residence on the night intervening 01/02-09-2021. A case FIR No. 120, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sandeep Kumar R/o # 3180/A, Sector-52, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stole away complainant splendor plus motorcycle No. CH01BB-2878 from slip road of D-Park, Sector 52, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 159, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
