One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Vishal R/o # 594, Sector-38/A, Chandigarh (Age-22 Years) and recovered 44 gm heroin from his possession Slip Road, Shahpur Chowk, Sec-40/A, Chandigarh on 25.07.2021. A case FIR No. 194, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Parvinder Singh R/o # 2154, Sector-20/C, Chandigarh alleged that his maid resident of Ramdarbar, Chandigarh has stolen clothes, laptop, gold ear rings, gold mangal sutra, 1 box of Dr. Fixit and other household items from his residence. A case FIR No. 43, U/S 381 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 129, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh on the complaint of a girl resident of Manimajra, Chandigarh who alleged that a lady driver of car No. HR-85C-4745 hit the complainant (pedestrian) near Sampark Center, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 20.07.2021. Complainant got injured and admitted in Civil Hospital, Manimajra, Chandigarh. Later alleged person a lady resident of Sector 5, Panchkula, HR arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rioting

Sanjay R/o # 1020, DMC, Chandigarh alleged that Amit @ Nandu, Kaushik, Nikhil, Babrik and 10/15 others entered in complainant residence and attacked on complainant and his family members with sticks, bricks, rods etc on 25.07.2021. They threatened and also took away artificial jewelry, purse, Adhar card, voter card from his residence. A case FIR No. 105, U/S 147, 148, 149, 449, 452, 427, 506, 195-A, 395, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
