MV Theft

Varun Kumar R/o # 193, Village Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s TVS Apache M/Cycle No. CH-01AU-5928 parked near his residence on 15-07-2021. A case FIR No. 83, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Village Attawa, Chandigarh reported that his son aged about 14 years has been missing from his residence since 22.07.2021. A case FIR No. 134, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling

          Chandigarh Police arrested Kamlesh Kumar R/o # 218, Sector-45, Burail, Chandigarh while he was playing satta near local bus stand Sector-45 Chandigarh on 23-07-2021. Total cash Rs. 2240/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 115, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Arrest in Theft

Sandeep Kumar R/o Village Dancholi, Distt. Mahendergarh, Haryana who reported that unknown person stole away bag of complainant containing 2 mobile phones, cash Rs. 8500/-, ATM card and driving license from ISBT-17, Chandigarh on night intervening 19/20-07-2021. Later on accused namely Ishan Mohamed R/o # 6425/C, Sector-56, Chandigarh (Age-29 years) has been arrested in this case. A case FIR No. 116, U/S 379 added 411 registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Hukam Singh R/o # 1335, Ph-3, Saini Vihar, Baltana (PB) reported that two persons occupant of Auto No. HR68B3077 stole away cycle near Govt. Model High School, Village-Raipur Kalan, Chandigarh on 22-07-2021. Later, complainant apprehended the alleged persons namely Ravi R/o # 2, Raipur kalan, Chandigarh and Manish R/o # 2, Harmilap Nagar, Baltana, PB near Raipur Kalan Barrier and handed over to local police. A case FIR No. 82, U/S 379, 411, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
