Action against Gambling

            Chandigarh Police arrested Naveen Sagal R/o # 163, NAC, Mani Majra, Chandigarh (Age 31 Years) while he was playing satta near wine shop, Grain Market, Sector 26, Chandigarh on 14.07.2021. Total cash Rs. 640/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 146, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Hardev Singh R/o Village-Dhanora, Distt-Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s CT-100 Motor Cycle No. PB-65AM-2623 parked near Sports Complex, Sarangpur, Chandigarh on the night intervening 10/11-07-2021. A case FIR No. 76, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Gurjant Singh R/o # 1453, Nagla Mohalla, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Bullet Motor Cycle No. CH-01BN-3346 from back side Aroma Hotel, Sector-22, Chandigarh between 07-07-2021 to 12-07-2021. A case FIR No. 110, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Attempt to theft

            A case FIR No. 111, U/S 379, 511 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Divansh Negi R/o # 186, Dasmesh Nagar, Naya Gaon (PB) who reported that a person namely Anoop Vig was apprehended by complainant while he was trying to steal his Activa Scooter No. CH-01BP-7395 near SCO No. 332, Sector 34/A. Chandigarh on 14.07.2021. Alleged person Anoop Vig R/o Room No. 12, Gurudwara Angitha Sahib, Ph-8, Mohali, Punjab (age 37 years) has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.
