One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Ravi R/o # 6402/B, Sector-56, Chandigarh (Age 35 years) and recovered 7 gm heroin from his possession near Satsang Bhawan, Maloya Colony, Chandigarh on 08.07.2021. A case FIR No. 93, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested under Arms act

Chandigarh Police arrested Rahul Kumar R/o # 1133, Rajiv Colony, Sector-17, Panchkula, (HR)  (age 28 years) and recovered one knife from his possession near light point Hallo Majra to Vikas Nagar Road, Chandigarh on 07.07.2021. A case FIR No. 78, U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for MV theft

Daya Shankar R/o # 391/A, Small Flats, Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH01BB3916 parked near his residence on the night intervening 30/06-01-07-2021. Later a person namely  Dhan Kumar @ Dhanni R/o # 85 Village- Dhanas, Chandigarh (age 32 years) has been arrested in this case. A case FIR No. 72, U/S 379, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

          A case FIR No. 91, U/S 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Tarsem Lal R/o # 308, Block-B, Adarsh Nagar, Naya Gaon (PB) who reported that persons namely Sarda Bhargav, Mr. Nirmal, Mr. Khullar, Mr. Rohit Walia, Madan Shukla and others cheated complainant Rs. 48,46,864/- in the name of investment in Davis Club and other companies. Investigation of the case is in progress.

                A case FIR No. 92, U/S 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sandeep Kumar Sindhu R/o # 2428/3, Sector-24/C, Chandigarh who reported that Pooja Plantation, Nanhera Link Road, Kuldeep Nagar, Ambala taken Rs. 6,84,800/- through online transactions for providing Axocasan G4 Extract but alleged person neither provided the product and nor return his money. Investigation of the case is in progress.

                A case FIR No. 123, U/S 419, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Netram Meena R/o # 2288, Sector-42/C, Chandigarh who reported that a girl on facebook messenger expressed her desire to come to India for donating money. Later complainant got a call from her that she reached on airport and got deposited Rs. 1.06 lakh from complainant’s account in the name of custom clearance. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Bhupinder Singh R/o # 147 colony No. 2, Khudda lahora, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s two E-Rickshaw’s No. CH-01TE-2539, HR-2021TR-0384F while parked near his house on the night intervening 03/04-07-2021. A case FIR No. 73, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector-41, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH-01AE-3931 from parking Mandi Ground, Sector-40, Chandigarh on 03-07-2021. A case FIR No. 182, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Ashish Kumar R/o # 15, Shivalik Vihar, Naya gaon (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. PB-65AY-6691 from parking Nukkad Dhaba, Sector-22, Chandigarh on 03-07-2021. A case FIR No. 106, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Jatin Mandal R/o # 1029, Sector-45, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Mahindra Pick Up No. CH-01TA-0186 parked near # 2205, Sector-45, Chandigarh on 08-07-2021. A case FIR No. 108, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady resident of Kalka (HR) reported that two unknown persons occupants of motor cycle snatched away hand bag containing mobile phone, ATM card, Aadhar card and cash Rs. 300/- near BSNL turn, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 08-07-2021. A case FIR No. 122, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Jai Kumar R/o # 2517, DMC, Chandigarh reported that complainant’s nephew stole away gold & silver jewelry, piggy banks, two mobile phones & cash Rs. 28,000/- from his house on 04.07.2021. A case FIR No. 94, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
