Two person arrested for disobeying orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 101, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh against Ranjit singh R/o # 675, Village-Burail, Chandigarh who was arrested while roaming without having pass/permit near Entry Gate, ISBT Sector-43, Chandigarh and thus violated the curfew orders on 27.05.2021. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 102, U/S 188 IPC and 51(A) Disaster Management Act has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh against Jagsher Chopal R/o # 401, Village-Kajehri, Sector-52, Chandigarh who was arrested while roaming without having pass/permit near K.K. Hotel-2, Village-Kajehri, Chandigarh and thus violated the curfew orders on 28.05.2021. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.        

One arrested with illicit liquor

          A case FIR No. 61, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh against driver of Honda city Car No. CH-04B4565 left his vehicle near Zirakpur Barrier, Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh and during search 20 boxes containing 240 bottles of Whisky marka UK was recovered from said vehicle on 28.05.2021. Later accused person namely Paryanshu R/o # 1579, Deep Comlex, Hallo Majra, Chandigarh has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A lady resident of Sector 29, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s I-card, Voter card, ATM card,  cash Rs 2400/- and one mobile phone from her Activa Scooter No. CH-01AQ-7681 while parked near Police Hospital, Sector-26 Chandigarh on 04.05.2021. A case FIR No. 128, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Munish Sharma R/o # 18, H-Block, Shivalik Vihar, Nayagaon (PB) reported that unknown person stole away AC copper pipes & material from his office i.e. Plot No. 151, Phase-2, Ind. Area, Chandigarh between 22-05-2021 to 24-05-2021. A case FIR No. 73, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS- 31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Deterred public servant from govt. duty

          A case FIR No. 62, U/S 186, 353, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on the complaint of Balraj Chhikara R/o SDE, Building Branch, MC, Chandigarh against Surender Singh and Shiv Karan who threatened public servants of road wing, Manimajra and obstructed their duty near Nala, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
