One person arrested for disobeying orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 127, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against Guddu Ram R/o # 3031, Sector-28, Chandigarh who was arrested while roaming without having pass/permit from Sector-28/C, Chandigarh and thus violating curfew orders on 27.05.2021. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.      

Missing /Abduction

         A person resident of Village Dadu majra, Chandigarh reported that her daughter aged about 16 years missing/abducted from her residence since 26.05.2021. A case FIR No. 64, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for possessing illicit liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Rinku R/o # 2891, DMC, Chandigarh and recovered 46 quarters (180 ml each) of desi wine marka empire No.1 Mota santra spiced country liquor from his possession near Karan Taxi Stand, DMC, Chandigarh on 27.05.2021. A case FIR No. 65, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Later, he bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against gambling/satta

          Chandigarh Police arrested Jaswant Singh R/o # 105, Charan Singh Colony Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh while he was playing satta at public place near Community Center Charan Singh Colony, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on 27.05.2021. Total cash Rs. 1430/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 60, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 126, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint Raman R/o # 2429, Vikas Nagar Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Honda City Car No PB-08BD-2944 hit to Auto Rickshaw No. PB-65AR-7183 near 27/28 light point, Chandigarh on 27.05.2021. Auto Rickshaw driver namely Kashi Ram R/o # 2429, Vikas Nagar Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Later accused Sumit R/O # 319, Gurdev Nagar Zirakpur, Mohali (PB) arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

Sanjeev Kumar R/o # 99, Sector-33/A, Chandigarh, reported that two unknown person on Motor cycle snatched away complainant’s gold chain near mini market, sector-33, Chandigarh on 27.05.2021. A case FIR No. 92, U/S 379A, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady residence of Sector-41/A, Chandigarh, reported that two unknown person on Motor cycle snatched away complainant’s gold chain near #34-35, sector-41A, Chandigarh on 27.05.2021. A case FIR No. 130, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
