Three persons arrested for disobeying orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 123, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against Raj Kumar R/o # 40, Ph-3, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh who was arrested while roaming without having pass/permit near HDFC Bank ATM, Sector-27/C, Chandigarh and thus violating curfew orders on 25.05.2021. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 59, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh against Ram Kumar R/o # 6/A, Gali No. 1, Shanti Nagar, Mani Majra, Chandigarh who was arrested while roaming without having pass/permit at CS Colony, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh and thus violating curfew orders on 25.05.2021. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 99, U/S 188 IPC & 51 Disaster Management Act has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh against Ram Subham Gupta R/o # 627, Village-Kajheri, Chandigarh who was arrested while roaming without having pass/permit near Swarg Hotel, Village-Kajheri, Chandigarh and thus violating curfew orders on 25.05.2021. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling/satta

    Chandigarh Police arrested Yogesh R/o # 809, Village-Burail, Chandigarh, Manoj Verma R/o # 161, Village-Burail, Chandigarh, Vikas R/o # 673/A, Sector-44A, Chandigarh, Jaiya Ram R/o # 570, Village-Burail, Chandigarh while they were gambling at public place near H.No. 570, Village-Burail, Chandigarh on 25.05.2021. Total cash Rs. 5650/- was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 90, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Later they were released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Chaman Lal R/o # 3910/1, Sector-47/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away Complainant’s Bullet M/Cycle No. CH01BV7877 parked in front of his residence on the night intervening 20/21-05-2021. A case FIR No. 71, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
