Action against Gambling/satta

          Chandigarh Police arrested Ram Parkash Sahu R/o # 150, Village Palsora, Chandigarh, while he was playing satta near Rihana Meet Shop, Village Kaimbwala, Chandigarh on 24.05.2021. Total cash Rs. 10160/- was recovered from his possession. He also violated the orders issued by DM, UT, Chandigarh in view of Covid-19. In this regard, a case FIR No. 42, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act & 188 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress. Accident

A case FIR No. 121, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint a girl resident of Sector 30, Chandigarh against Sarwan Kumar R/o # 1381-A, Sector 26, Chandigarh driver of bus No. HR68A-9981, who turned the bus at AP Chowk in negligent manner, resultantly complainant felled down from the bus. Victim got injuries and admitted in GHSH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

IT Act

A case FIR No. 120, U/S 67 IT Act-2000 has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint a Vijai Vardhan, IAS, Haryana, resident of Sector-7, Chandigarh against unknown person who sent several vulgar and threatening whatsapp messages on complainant’s mobile on 21.05.2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Uma Shankar R/o # 269/3, Village Kishangarh, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away Complainant’s Activa No. CH-01AY-2018 parked near DLF building, IT park on 24.05.2021. A case FIR No. 50, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-IT park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.          A girl resident of Sector 32, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away Complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH01AQ-4752 from Sector 34A, Chandigarh on 24.05.2021. A case FIR No. 50, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
