One person arrested for disobeying orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 111, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against Sahil R/o # 391, Phase-1, BDC, Sector 26, Chandigarh, who was arrested while roaming without having pass/permit near Munna Turn, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh and thus disobeyed orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh on 17.05.2021. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for possessing illicit liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested a lady R/o sector-56, Chandigarh and recovered 18 bottles of country made liquor wine marka santra from her possession near Mandi Ground Sector-56, Chandigarh on 17.05.2021. A case FIR No. 126, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Later, she was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rioting

Sahil R/o Jhuggi No. 219, near Cremation Ground, Sector 25, Chandigarh alleged that Ajay, Abhi, Deepu, Golu and others attacked on complainant with rod and swords at his residence on 17.05.2021. A case FIR No. 71, U/S 147, 148, 149, 458, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Later persons namely Sanjay, Gopal, Rahul, Ashish and Sahil all residents of Sector-17, Panchkula (HR) have been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Azad Singh R/o Village Parachh, Mullanpur, Distt. Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Honda Dream motorcycle No. PB65AB-9047 from staff parking, Block-B, PGI, Chandigarh on the night intervening 12/13-05-2021. A case FIR No. 70, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
