‘Purnoor’ Korel, CHANDIGARH – 14. 05 2021 :

4 persons arrested for disobeying orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

Four different cases U/S 188 IPC has been registered in different Police Stations i.e. PS-26=02, PS-36=01 and PS-Maloya-01 Chandigarh against 04 persons, who were arrested from the different parts of the city, while roaming without having pass/permit and thus, they were disobeyed orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh on 13.05.2021. Later, they were bailed out.

Theft

Mangal Parsad R/o # 4887/2 sector-38west, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s E-Rickshaw No. CH01 TE 9536 from parking near his house on 12.05.2021. A case FIR No. 55, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault/Quarrel

   A case FIR No. 45, U/S 323, 324, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-IT-Park, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rohit R/o # Jhuggi No. 170 NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh who reported that a person namely Mucchad assaulted and stabbed him near Balmiki Mandir, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 12.05.2021.  He got injured and admitted in GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 83, U/S 427, 451, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Industrial Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Gurpreet Singh R/o # 222, Village Dariya, Chandigarh who reported that Julfkar and Wasim both resident of Dariya, Chandigarh entered in complainant plot and broken the newly built wall on night intervening 12/13.05.2021.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for possessing illicit liquor

          A case FIR No. 64, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh against unknown driver of Car No. PB 07 N 8200, who ran away after left his vehicle near CRPF Camp Hallo Majra, Chandigarh on 13.05.2021. On the search of the vehicle 168 bottles premium whisky Royal gold recovered. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Sukhwinder Singh R/o Patti Soul Mehraj, Distt Bathinda, PB and recovered 36 Bottles 750 Ml Of Marka 555 Gold3x Rum from his possession in his Car No. PB48 E 7239 near Near Rattan Motor Sector 23 Backside Parking, Chandigarh on 13.05.2021. A case FIR No. 73, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. He was later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Manoj Kumar R/o 1458/15 Sec-29/B, Chandigarh and recovered 15 quarters of marka special gold whisky from his possession near sector-29/30 light point, Chandigarh on 13.05.2021. A case FIR No. 82, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Ind-Area, Chandigarh. He was later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
