10.24 Kgs Of Cocaine Worh 100 Crores Recovered by Chandigarh Police

Chandigarh Police has succeeded in the major recovery of 10.24 Kgs Cocaine. The approximate market value of recovered  Cocaine is more than 100 Crores On the basis of secret information, Chandigarh Police under the direct supervision of ShKuldeepChahal, SSP Chandigarh constituted a raiding Party comprising MsShruti Arora, IPS, ASP SouthDivision, Insp NarinderPatial, SHO, PS-31 and others. The Police Party apprehendeda person namely S. Ashfaq Rahman S/o A.S. Sahab Peer, resident of 16 Dimmasamy, Darga Street, VTC, Jawahar Nagar, Chennai (Tamilnadu) and recovered 10.24 Kgs Cocaine from his possession. He had brought this consignment to Excel Worldwide Pvt Ltd, Plot No 360, Indl Area, Phase-II, Chandigarh Courier Company for further sending this consignment to Australia through courier.  This consignment of drug was hidden in a wooden tray duly sealed by plywood and mixed with crockery items in cardboard boxes. The consignment was send from Chennai to Chandigarh through train.

          The further investigation of the case is in progress. The previous involvement of the accused is being verified from his concerned Police Station. The accused will be produced in the Court by tomorrow and Police Custody will be obtained for tracing the origin of recovered cocaine and to ascertain the involvement of others accused in this racket.
