5 persons arrested for disobeying orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

Five different cases U/S 188 IPC has been registered in different Police Stations i.e. PS-26=02, PS-31=01, PS-Maloya-01 and PS-Manimajra=01, Chandigarh against 05 persons, who were arrested from the different parts of the city, while roaming without having pass/permit and thus, they were disobeyed orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh on 12.05.2021. Later, they were bailed out.

Action against disobeying of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 88, U/S 51-B Disaster Management Act 2005, 269, 270 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh against Jaswinder Singh R/o # VPO Meer Kotla, Distt. Sirmour, Himachal Pradesh who opened his book shop during the lockdown in Attawa Sector-42 Chandigarh On 12-05-2021 and disobeyed orders of the DM, UT, Chandigarh. He was arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 88, U/S 51-B Disaster Management Act 2005, 269, 270 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh against Manoj Kumar R/o # 65, Village Badheri Sector-41, Chandigarh who opened his book shop during the lockdown in Attawa Sector-42 Chandigarh On 12-05-2021 and disobeyed orders of the DM, UT, Chandigarh. He was arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 87, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint Manvir Singh R/o # 99/6, PH-9, Mohali (PB) who alleged that a lady driver of Honda City Car No. HR-05V-0079 hit to complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH-01T-5250 at sector 34/35 Light Point, Chandigarh on 17.04.2021. Complainant got injured and admitted in GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Dowry

A lady resident of sector 29, Chandigarh alleged that her husband & others resident of Chandigarh harassed the complainant to bring more dowries. A case FIR No. 29, U/S 406, 498A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against gambling/satta

          Chandigarh Police arrested Ram Kumar R/o # 6528, sector 56, Chandigarh while he was playing satta in park near # 6525, Sector-56, Chandigarh on 12.05.2021. Total cash Rs. 2430/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 123, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. He was later on bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault/Quarrel

          A lady resident of Sector 40, Chandigarh alleged that her Sister-In-Law resident of Sector 40 slapped her and also pushed her from stairs on 08-05-2021. Victim got injuries and admitted in GMSH-16, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 121, U/S 323, 325, IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Raju Kumar R/o # 1226, Rajiv colony, Sector 17, Panchkula reported that Sanjay, Rahul and others, were attacked on complainant at backside of Masjid, Mauli Complex, Chandigarh on 11.05.2021 and tried to kill complainant. Complianant got injured and was admitted to GMCH-32, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 52, U/S 147, 148, 149, 341, 307 IPC has been registered in PS-Maulijagran, Chandigarh. Later on 12.05.2021 accused namely Sanjay, Gopal, Rahul, Ashish and Sahil all resident of Sector-17, Panchkula has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Two arrested for Snatching

Brijesh Kumar R/o # 621/5, Vill. Kajheri, Chandigarh reported that 2 unknown persons beaten to him and snatched away his wallet containing cash Rs. 1500/- from him near jungle area, kali badi light point Chandigarh on 12-05-2021.  A case FIR No. 62, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Later on both accused namely Ravi resident of Distt. Merrut (UP) age 28 years & Chaman Lal resident of Distt. Jalandhar (PB) age 29 years have been arrested in this case. Investigation of case is in progress.

Cheating

A lady resident of Sector 38, Chandigarh alleged that a lady R/o # 1964, Sector- 7/B, Chandigarh alleged that a lady, whom complainant given her house No.1059/1, Sector 39-B, Chandigarh on rent in month of November, 2017. But alleged lady further rented out the same house to another lady, posing herself as owner. A case FIR No. 122, U/S 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
