6 persons arrested for disobeying orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

Five different cases U/S 188 IPC has been registered in different Police Stations i.e. PS-26=02, PS-31=01, PS-Maloya-01 and PS-Manimajra=01, Chandigarh against 05 persons, who were arrested from the different parts of the city, while roaming without having pass/permit and thus, they were disobeyed orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh on 07.05.2021. Later, they were bailed out.

Assault

A case FIR No. 56, U/S 323, 324, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady R/o # EWS Colony Dhanas, Chandigarh against Jitu and Bittu both resident of Chandigarh and other person, were beaten to complainant Son namely Pappu near her residence on 10.05.2021. Pappu got injured and admitted in GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Later one person Joginder Singh R/O # 330/A, EWS Colony Dhanas, Chandigarh arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Narender Singh R/o # 243, Indra colony, Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s motorcycle No. CH-04E-4759 from near FR, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 30.03.2021. A case FIR No. 85, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady R/o # Kharar, Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa No. CH-01AG-3166 from infront of parking SCO No.91/93, Sector 34/A, Chandigarh on 24.04.2021. A case FIR No. 83, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Two arrested for possessing illicit liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested a lady R/o BDC, Chandigarh and recovered 20 bottles country made liquor from her possession near TPT Turn, sector-26 Chandigarh on 11.05.2021. A case FIR No. 100, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Later, she was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Mohit R/o # 452, Village Daria, Chandigarh while violating the curfew order issued by the DM, Chandigarh and recovered 24 bottles country made liquor from his possession near Mari, Vill- Daria, Chandigarh on 11.05.2021. A case FIR No. 81, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act and 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of case is in progress.
