‘Purnoor’, Korel, CHANDIGARH – 07. 05. 2021 :

4 persons arrested for disobeying orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

Four different cases U/S 188 IPC has been registered in different Police Stations i.e. PS-26=01, PS-31=01, PS-36=01 and PS-Maloya=01, Chandigarh against 04 persons, who were arrested from the different parts of the city, while roaming without having pass/permit and thus, they were disobeyed orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh on 06.05.2021. Later, they were bailed out.

One arrested under NDPS Act

Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Dilip Kumar resident of Distt. Jhunjhunu, (RS) age 34 years from near 66 KV grid Sub station, Sector 32, Chandigarh and recovered 65 gram heroine from his possession on 06.05.2021. A case FIR No. 79, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Narender Kumar R/o # 26, Bank Colony, Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that stole away complainant’s motorcycle No. CH-01AL-5382 from infront of his residence from 21.04.2021 to 23.04.2021. A case FIR No. 77, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Vikram Singh R/o # 2606/A, Sector 38, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa No. CH04J-1966 from infront of his residence from 03.05.2021 to 05.05.2021. A case FIR No. 117, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Caught red handed

Balinder Kumar, J.E. R/o # 2259-A, Sector 20/C, Chandigarh reported that Dinesh R/o # near Bus Stand Grain Market, Sector 26, Chandigarh, who was caught while stealing 40 feet cable of CCTV from Grain Market Chowk, Chandigarh on 05.05.2021. A case FIR No. 90, U/S 379, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

Om Parkash R/o # 729/7, BDC, Sector 26,  Chandigarh, reported that a lady, Happy, Aniket and Aman all resident of Sector 26, Chandigarh, they all entered in complainant residence and beaten him on 06.05.2021. A case FIR No. 91, U/S 323, 452, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
