One arrested for disobeying orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

          A case FIR No. 72, U/S 188 IPC has been registered PS-36, Chandigarh against Sagar R/o 511 Sector-46A, Chandigarh who was arrested from Backside ISBT, Sector-43, Chandigarh while roaming in curfew hours and disobeyed the orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh on 18.04.2021. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

A lady R/o Sector-32, Chandigarh reported that two unknown person on M/Cycle sped away after snatching complainant’s purse containing mobile phone, pan card, adhar card and Cash Rs 3000/-, near # 223, Sector-32A, Chandigarh on 19.04.2021. A case FIR No. 67, U/S 379A, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

A case FIR No. 66, U/S 452, 323, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Shahnoor Abbas R/o # 37, Village Dhanas, Chandigarh who alleged that 3 unknown person occupant of Accent car No. PB01B7825, they beaten to complainant at CNG Pump, Sector-44, Chandigarh on dated 19-04-2021. Later Monu R/o # 6008 Madrasi colony Maloya , chandigarh, Shovinder singh R/o # 152 Shahpur colony sector 38 west, chandigarh and Muni dev R/o # 152, Shahpur Colony, Sector-38 West, chandigarh have been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Other

A case FIR No. 73, U/S 7 Cinematography ACT 1952 has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. This case has been registered on the complaint of Sh. Ashok Kumar R. Parmar IAS, Joint Secretary (Films) Government of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Shashtri Bhavan, New Delhi in which he stated that inputs have been received from the ministry of home affairs that a documentary titled “Punjab Disappeared “Propagating The Agenda of pro-khalistan elements is being screened by an NGO ”Punjab Documentation and Advocacy Project” by Satnam Singh R/o A/100 GF Defence Colony New Delhi. The documentary was screened at DR PN Chuttani Memorial, Indian Medical Association Complex Sec-35/B, Chandigarh on 25.5.19 without certification by the central board of film certification. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 67, U/s 75, 79 JJ ACT & 3(1), 14(1A) Child Labor Act 1986 has been registered in PS-Ind area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Mohd. Irshad, Child Protection Officer, Chandigarh against 1. Kiryana shop owner booth no. 5 MW market I/area 2. Tirlochan dhaba owner MW market I/area 3. Aasif dhaba MW market I/area 4. Poojara ram tea stall owner I/area, Chandigarh, who engaged children as labor at their commercial establishment in Ind-area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
