Action against gambling/satta

          Chandigarh Police arrested Romy R/o # 234, Gali No. 11, Shanti Nagar, Mani Majra, Chandigarh while he was playing satta near Labour Chowk near Fauji Dhaba, Mani Majra, Chandigarh on 12.04.2021. Total cash Rs. 3850/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 52, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. He was later on bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Ajay Kumar R/o Village Jhampur Distt-Mohali, (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH01-AG-3216 parked near Krishna Market, Sector-41, Chandigarh on 11.04.2021. A case FIR No. 97, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Dr. Ranjit Singh R/o # 258, Sector-16A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away bag containing gold jewelry about 25/30 tola from Locker No.16, Room No. 8, Gynae OT-1, GMSH-16, Chandigarh between 20-03-2021 to 11-04-2021. A case FIR No. 52, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Quarrel/Assault

A case FIR No. 18, U/S 323, 341, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh on the complaint of Anil Kumar R/o Kurukshetra University(HR) who alleged that Sunil Punia and Ramesh Punia both R/o # 75 Sector-17, Panchkula (HR) assaulted other members of Guru Ravidas Sabha at Guru Ravidas Bhawan Sector-20, Chandigarh on 10-04-2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.
