A case FIR No. 31, U/S 188, 270 IPC & 58 Disaster Management Act 2005 has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against owner Sumesh Gagneja R/o # 1466, Progressive Society, Sector-50, Chandigarh for serving hukka to customers at Pipe and Barrel Bar, SCO No. 156-157, Sector-9/C, Chandigarh on 04.04.2021 and violated the orders of District Magistrate, UT, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 54, U/S 188, 269, 270, 34 IPC & 58 Disaster Management Act 2005 has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against owner of Illusion Club, SCO No. 03, Sector-7, Chandigarh namely Rajat Saini and workers namely Rajiv and Naresh Bhandhari for serving hukka to customers at said club on 05.04.2021 and violated the orders of District Magistrate, UT, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 48, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Arvinder @ Preet Singh owner of H.No. 788, Sector-22/A, Chandigarh who rented out his house without getting tenant verification from local police and violated the orders of District Magistrate, UT, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for attempt to Burglary

          Bajender Singh R/o Gurudwara Singh Sabha, Ph-2, Ind. Area, Chandigarh reported that unknown person broken locks of donation box of Gurudwara, Ph-2, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 05.04.2021. Later person namely Prince Deep Singh R/o Gurudwara Amb Sahib, Ph-8, Mohali (PB) has been arrested in this case. A case FIR No. 42, U/S 380, 457, 511 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Gurwinder Singh R/o # 4, Khuda-Ali-Sher, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away two gold rings, one pair shoes and cash Rs. 4000/5000 from his residence between 27.03.2021 to 30.03.2021. A case FIR No. 46, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. MV Theft

Brij Bhushan Lal R/o # 138/2, Bank Colony, Pipli Wala Town, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH-01BR-6221 parked near Govt. School, Grain Market, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 27.03.2021. A case FIR No. 55, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

Kailash R/o # 60, Sector-4, Chandigarh reported that unknown person occupant of Auto sped away after snatching mobile phone from complainant at dividing road, Sector 8/9, Chandigarh on 04.04.2021. A case FIR No. 32, U/S 379A, IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Mohit Sharma R/o # 1526, Sector-47/B, Chandigarh reported that two unknown persons in Auto snatched away mobile phone and purse containing two Credit Cards, R/C, CSD Canteen Card, D/L and cash Rs. 6000/- from complainant near Petrol Pump, Japani Garden, Sector-31, Chandigarh on 05.04.2021. A case FIR No. 43, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector 85, Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person occupant of motor cycle sped away after snatching her purse containing mobile phone & cash Rs. 7000/- near H.No. 1411, Sector 34C, Chandigarh on 05.04.2021. A case FIR No. 59, U/S 379A, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rajinder Bansal R/o # 278, Silver Bath, Omaxe New Chandigarh, Mullanpur, SAS Nagar, Mohali (PB) reported that 4 unknown persons snatched away cash Rs. 1 lakh, one gold ring & mobile phone from complainant and snatched away bag, mobile phone and cash Rs. 2 lakh from his brother Rajesh Bansal at back side of complainant’s Shop Sarvnoor Furniture & Cabinet, Shop No. 79, Furniture Market, Sector-54, Chandigarh on 05.04.2021. A case FIR No. 94, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

Navneet Singh R/o # 1393, Sector-33/C, Chandigarh reported that he is having saving account at Indusind Bank, SCO No. 36, Sector 26, Chandigarh. During perusal of account statement complainant noticed that a sum of Rs. 32,00,000/- was transferred from his account through NEFT transaction between 10.10.2020 to 13.10.2020 and same was credited in favor of account Hardeep Singh Rai. During enquiry it is revealed that Kartekeya Singh (complainant’s son) transferred this amount to other account by swapping the sim card of complainant. A case FIR No. 58, U/S 420, 120-B IPC and 66, 66/C IT Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 95, U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint Vishnu Dev R/o # 6267, Sector-56, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Ambulance No. CH-01GA-1351 namely Darshan Lal R/o Village Maujpur Distt. Mohali (PB) hit to Aviator Scooter No. CH01AH6344 driven by complainant’s neighbor namely Narian Singh R/o # 6279, Sector 56, Chandigarh at Chowk, Sector-39/40/55/56, Chandigarh on 05.04.2021. Narian Singh got injured and declared brought dead at GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Alleged ambulance driver Darshan Lal arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
