Two arrested under NDPS Act

          Chandigarh Police arrested a lady resident of DMC, Chandigarh (aged 32 years) near dividing road Sector 14/15 towards Sector 15 side on 04.04.2021 and recovered 9 gram smack from her possession. A case FIR No. 45, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Chandigarh Police arrested a lady resident of DMC, Chandigarh (aged 35 years) near Shani Mandir, Railway road, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on 04.04.2021, and recovered total 100 injections of Promethazine Hydrochloride and Pentazocine from her Possession on 04.04.2021. A case FIR No. 29, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing /Abduction

          A lady resident of Village Khuda Jassu, Chandigarh reported that complainant’s daughter aged about 9 years has been missing from her house since 03.04.2021. A case FIR No. 35, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

          Ankit Sharma R/o # 2264/A, Sector-20/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s cycle from parking of Rose Garden, Sector-16, Chandigarh on 01.04.2021. Later one person namely Nim Kanta R/o # 97/1, Khuda-Ali-Sher, Chandigarh (age 38 years) has been arrested in this case. A case FIR No. 47, U/S 379 added 411 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Dr. Surendra Kumar Sharma R/o # 5466/3, Category-II, MHC, Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away coins of Rs. 2000/-, cash Rs. 20,000/-, one gold ring, two watches, iron press and steal lock box from his residence after broken the locks between 01.04.2021 to 04.04.2021. A case FIR No. 47, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Amanpreet Singh R/o # 1437, DMC, Chandigarh reported that two unknown persons stole away complainant’s mobile phone from his residence on 04.04.2021. A case FIR No. 37, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 66, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the statement of a lady resident of Distt. Begusarai, Bihar against unknown driver of car No. CH03P-6529 who sped away after hitting to a pedestrian person namely Goga at dividing road, Sector 43/52, Chandigarh on 03.04.2021. Pedestrian person got injured and admitted in GH-16 and later referred to PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

          A case FIR No. 41, U/S 379-A IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ravi Shankar R/o # 48, Village Faidan, Chandigarh who reported that unknown motorcyclist snatched away complainant’s mobile phone near park, Sector 47, Chandigarh on 04.04.2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.
