One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Chandigarh Police arrested Ghanshyam Sharma R/o # 1923, Village Burail, Chandigarh while consuming liquor at public place near Guga Mari Mandir, Village Burail, Chandigarh on 30-03-2021. A case FIR No. 54, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. He was later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

         Anil Kumar Malik R/o # 1105/A, Sector-41B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s bicycle from his house on the night intervening 16/17-03-2021. A case FIR No. 89, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

         A lady resident of Sector 47B, Chandigarh reported unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. PB-65AR-4345 parked near Plot No. 36, Ph-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 20-03-2021. A case FIR No. 53, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 35, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Shahpur Colony, Sector 38(W), Chandigarh who alleged that driver of motor cycle No. CH-01BW-6064 hit to complainant (pedestrian) near Shahpur light point, Chandigarh on 26.03.2021. Complainant got injuries and admitted in GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

A case FIR No. 28, U/S 323, 324, 341, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on the complaint of Bittu R/o # 228, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh who alleged that his friends namely Sonu & Laxman assaulted complainant near Wine Shop, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on 29.03.2021. Victim sustained injuries and admitted in Civil Hospital, Sector-6, Panchkula (HR). Investigation of the case is in progress.
