Action against gambling/satta

Chandigarh Police arrested Banwari Lal R/o # 610, Ph-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh while he was playing satta near Balmiki Mandir, Ph-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh on 24.03.2021. Total cash Rs. 7510/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 37, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Accused later on bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

         Pintu R/o # 105, Shastri Nagar, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported unknown person stole away complainant’s E-Rickshaw No. CH-01TE-0198 from Sabji mandi, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 20-02-2021. A case FIR No. 50, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 43, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rajesh Kumar R/o # G-34, Wajirpur, JJ Colony, Ashok Vihar, North Delhi who alleged that Navneet Goyal R/o M/s Jai Jawla Sales, SCO No. 473, ground floor, Motor Market, Manimajra, Chandigarh sold him one box containing 120 pcs of duplicate Good Night gold flash Liquid Vaporizers on 23.03.2021. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 84, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Gajender Rohilla R/o # 2756, Sector-15, Panchkula (HR) who alleged that Madan Gopal Singh & Jaskirat Singh both R/o # 344, Sector-41, Chandigarh and others taken cash Rs. 16 lakh as earnest money for the sale of H.No. 344, Sector-41, Chandigarh. The alleged persons neither executed the sale deed in favour of complainant and nor return his money. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

R.P. Raju R/o # 3565, Sector-37/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away gold chain with pendent and solitaire ring from complainant’s house on 24.03.2021. A case FIR No. 83, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
