One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Chandigarh Police arrested Abhay Kumar R/o # 68 Kachi colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh while consuming liquor and creating nuisance at public place near car parking back side Sector-43, Chandigarh on 04-03-2021. A case FIR No. 38, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Accused later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

        Madan Kumar Singh R/o # 727, Village Kajheri, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s E-rickshaw No. CH-01TE-4438 while parked back side of SCO No. 5, grain market Sector-56, Chandigarh on 03.03.2021. A case FIR No. 44, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rishu Kumar R/o # 119/1, Sector-40B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH-01AT-1229 from plot No.9, (Lali motors) PH-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 16.02.2021. A case FIR No. 37, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A lady resident of Sector-8/B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away 1  gold biscuit, 4 diamond bangles, 3 gold necklace and cash Rs. 12/13 lac from complainant’s residence on 05.03.2021. A case FIR No. 20, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

Narinder Kumar R/o # 264/1, Gali No. 11, Shanti Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh against Subhash Bansal and Shubham Bansal both resident of Shop No. 2214/5, PWT, Manimajra, Chandigarh. They both were beaten and threatened to complainant near Shop No. 2214/5, PWT, Maniamjra, Chandigarh on 25.02.2021. complainant got injured and admitted in PHC, Maniamjra, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 38, U/S 323, 341, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 13, U/S 406, 420 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady (Widow) resident of Sector-43, Chandigarh against a lady resident of Sector51, Chandigarh cheated complainant Rs. 300000/- under pretext of Providing her residential house in sector 51, Chandigarh under the Govt Scheme of Widow Quota. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

Monu Sharma r/o # 716/21, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh reported that Anuj R/o # 264, Maulijagran, Chandigarh, was driving motorcycle No. CH01BS-7468, which hit to an unknown cyclist near Sukhna bridge, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 04.03.2021. Accused and cyclist got injured and both were admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Later on cyclist namely Parbha R/o #710, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh aged bout 50 years got expired during treatment. A case FIR No. 43, U/S 279, 337 added 304-A IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Accused was arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Anmol Kumar R/o # 18, Hallomajra, Chandigarh reported that Naresh R/o # 3-14, Sivasadidy Palli, KV Ranga Reddy, Telangana was driving Army vehicle No. 12D189916K, which hit to an Ice cream vendor at Hallomajra light point on 05.03.2021. Ice-cream vendor namely Sidharth R/o #1288, Hallomajra, Chandigarh aged about 26 years got injured and admitted in GMCH-32 and during treatment duty doctor declared him brought dead. A case FIR No. 30, U/S 279, 304-A IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
