One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Chandigarh Police arrested Ashok Shah R/o # 556 Phase-6 Mohali (PB) while consuming liquor near Sabzi Mandi, Village Kajheri, Sector-52, Chandigarh on 04-03-2021. A case FIR No. 36, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Accused later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

        Neeraj Kumar R/o # 20, Village Kajheri, Sector-52, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s E-rickshaw No. PIM004 while parked near Khera Mandir, Village Kajheri, Sector-52, Chandigarh on 04.03.2021. A case FIR No. 37, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Attempt to commit culpable homicide

A case FIR No. 29, U/S 308, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sunny R/o # 1244, DBC, Sector-25, Chandigarh who alleged that Kala, Raju, Lokesh and other attacked on complainant and his father with swords, iron rod & axe at outside of his house on 03.03.2021. He got injuries and admitted in GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Quarrel/Assault

          A case FIR No. 35, U/S 323, 341, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady who alleged that her husband resident of Sector 29/B, Chandigarh beaten & harassed complainant at her residence on 01.03.2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.
