Action against Gambling/satta

Chandigarh Police arrested 1. Ajay Kumar R/o Sector 56, Chandigarh 2. Devi Lal R/o Maloya Colony, Chandigarh 3. Partap R/o Village Palsora 4. Puran R/o Village Naya Goan, Distt- Mohali, (PB) and Rakesh R/o Village Palsora, Chandigarh, while they were gambling at public place near Badheri Chowk Sector-54, Chandigarh on 17-07-2021, Chandigarh. Total cash Rs. 2400/- was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 52, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A lady resident of Phase-11, Mohali (PB) alleged that her husband namely Hardeep Singh R/o # 808, 2^nd floor, Phase-11, Mohali (PB) has taken loan from two different banks named as RBL and FULLERTON in the name of complainant by forging her signature on the relevant loan approval documents. A case FIR No. 13, U/S 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Jaswinder Pal Singh R/o # 54, DMC, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away documents from his Brezza Car No CH-44(T)-1036 and Santro car No CH03Q-9429 after breaking the window Panes of car while parked near  wall of dumping ground DMC, Chandigarh on night intervening 16/17-02-2021. They also stolen documents from others cars No. HR05T0246 and PB65Q7309 after broken the window panes of all these cars. A case FIR No. 21, U/S 379, 427 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

D. S. Jaspal (Retd I.A.S) R/o Heritage Garden, Museum of Trees, Village Dariya, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away electrical fitting including wires, halogen light, pipes, sockets and other misc items from his project site at above said premises on 17-02-2021. A case FIR No. 29, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

Pushkar Singh R/o # 287, Ph-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh reported that four unknown persons snatched away mobile phone from complainant near Bus Stand, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh on 15.02.2021. A case FIR No. 23, U/S 379A, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector-44A, Chandigarh reported that two unknown persons on motor cycle snatched away gold chain of complainant near # 142, Sector 46A, Chandigarh on 17.02.2021. A case FIR No. 32, U/S 379A, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 33, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Saleem R/o # 1308, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh who alleged that lady driver of Alto Car No. CH03BM-7090 hit to complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH04J-5766 near SCO No. 348-349, Sector-34A, Chandigarh on 16.02.2021. Complainant got injured and admitted in Healing Hospital, Sector 34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/abduction

A person resident of Ramdarbar, Chandigarh reported that his two sons aged about 17 years & 14 years and one neighbor’s boy aged about 13 years have been missing from near residence since 15.02.2021. A case FIR No. 24, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
