One person arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Chandigarh Police arrested Manoj Sharma resident of Village Burail, Chandigarh while consuming liquor near Guga Mari, Sector 45, Chandigarh on 07-02-2021. A case FIR No. 24, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. He was later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling/satta

Chandigarh Police arrested Anil Kumar R/o # 594, Sector-38A, Chandigarh while he was playing satta at public place near PNB, Sector-22B, Chandigarh on 07.02.2021. Total cash Rs. 8700/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 22, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against obstruction in public way

A case FIR No. 20, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Sachin Jain R/o # 1846, Village Burail, Chandigarh while he was obstructing public way by installing rehri/fari near Market, Sector 22C, Chandigarh on 07-02-2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 21, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Sunny Singh R/o # 2797, DMC, Chandigarh while he was obstructing public way by installing rehri/fari near SCO No. 80-81, Sector-17, Chandigarh on 07-02-2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 36, U/S 406, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sandeep Kohli R/o # 136, Sector-28A, Chandigarh against Aditya Bobal R/o # 140, Sector-10, Gurugram, HR, Arvind Singh Jaduan R/o # U-25, Subhash Park, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi and Dilpreet Singh Sikka R/o # H-8/A, Kalkaji, New Delhi, all managing director of Company Shenzen Zhouji Homtom Technology India Private Limited offered complainant to become distributor of their mobile company and cheated Rs. 51,00,000/- from complainant. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

A case FIR No. 23, U/S 325 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh on the complaint of Salim Ahmad R/o # 794/A, Gobindpura, Manimajra, Chandigarh who alleged that Harinder R/o Gobindpura, Manimajra, Chandigarh assaulted complainant with stick near his house on 06.02.2021. Complainant got injured and admitted in Civil Hospital, Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 25, U/S 323, 341, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Suhail R/o # 2250, Sector-52, Chandigarh who alleged that Balbir, Deepak, Krishan @ Kanda & others assaulted complainant with sharp weapon near Taxi Stand, Market, Sector-32, Chandigarh on 07.02.2021. Complainant got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

MV Theft

Parveen Kumar R/o # 523, Sector-52, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No HP-74-2128 parked near his house. A case FIR No. 23, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chand Kumar R/o # 6252/A, Sector-56, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Bajaj Pulsar M/Cycle No CH-01AH-6609 parked near his house on 06-02-2021. A case FIR No. 40, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
