Action against violation of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 31, U/S 188, 270, 34 IPC & Section 58 of Disaster Management Act 2005 has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against Anshul Gaur, manager of Reef Club, SCO No. 40, Sector-7, Chandigarh who served hukka to customers in the premises of club on 02.02.2021 and violated the orders of District Magistrate, UT, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for possessing illicit liquor

          Chandigarh Police arrested Ram Aadhar R/o # 116, 2^nd floor, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh (age 47 years) and recovered 39 quarters of country liquor from his possession near Fish Market, Shastri Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 02.02.2021. A case FIR No. 10, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. He was later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Gaurav Kumar R/o # 25, Ram Vihar, Baltana, Zirakpur, Punjab reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s FZ M/Cycle No. CH01-AR-0816 parked near Tibet Market, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 01-02-2021. A case FIR No. 18, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Yogendra Yadav R/o # 1483, Village Burail, Sector-45, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Auto No. PB65-AT-8951 parked near Community Center, KUC Hospital, Sector-46, Chandigarh on 06-12-2020. A case FIR No. 21, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Manjinder Singh, Head Granthi at Ramgarhia Bhawan, Gurudwara, Sector-27C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away donation box of Ramgarhia Bhawan, Gurudwara, Sector 27C, Chandigarh on the night intervening 01/02-02-2021. A case FIR No. 30, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 18, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the statement of Manmohan @ Kaka R/o # 307, Village Daria, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Auto No. CH01-TA-4809 namely Krishan Lal R/o # 2544, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh who hit to cyclist namely Ramojodaya Thakur R/o # 203, Village Daria, Chandigarh near Entry Gate, Railway Station towards Dariya, Chandigarh on 02.02.2021. Victim got injuries and admitted in PGIMER, Chandigarh. Alleged person arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          A case FIR No. 18, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rajpal Joshi R/o # 1416/19, Phase-11, Mohali (PB) who alleged that driver of Truck No. PB05-Y-3270 namely Kashmeer Singh R/o Village Missarpur, PO Chahal Kalan, Batala, Distt-Gurdaspur (PB) hit to complainant (cyclist) near Tribune Chowk, Chandigarh on 30.01.2021. He got injuries and was admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Alleged person arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          A case FIR No. 17, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ajay Kumar R/o # 767, Small Flats, Housing Board Complex, Dhanas, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of unknown car sped away after hitting to complainant’s brother namely Ram Milan (pedestrian) near Dividing Road, Sector-43/52, Chandigarh on 01.02.2021. He got injuries and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          A case FIR No. 20, U/S 279, 304A IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint Ramu Kumar R/o # 93, near Surya Hotel, Village Burail, Sec-45, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of car No. CH01-AQ-2087 namely Aryan Dua R/o # 1030, Sector-42B, Chandigarh hit to complainant’s father namely Badri Parshad (cyclist) near Tubewell, near Govt. Model School, Sector-44, Chandigarh on 02.02.2021. Victim got injured and declared brought dead at GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Alleged person arrested and later bailed out. A case FIR No. 11, U/S 323, 341, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-IT park, Chandigarh on the complaint Kulwinder Singh Grewal R/o # 21, Sector-34, Chandigarh who alleged that Rinku and 3 unknown persons assaulted & threatened complainant with sticks at Fish Market, Shastri Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 02.02.2021.
