Action against Gambling
Chandigarh Police arrested Ashok Kumar R/o # 736/12, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh and Tinku R/o # 518, BDC, Sector 26, Chandigarh while they were gambling near Rehri parking, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 01.01.2021. Total cash Rs. 1400/- was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 29, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Later they were bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Chandigarh Police arrested Harjit R/o # 188, Village Daria, Chandigarh, Vishal R/o VPO Raipur Rani, Distt. Panchkula HR, Deepak R/o # 547/2, Village Daria, Chandigarh while they were gambling near Steel Yard, Gali No. 2, Main Road Daria, Chandigarh on 01.02.2021. Total cash Rs. 2950/- was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 17, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Later they were bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 27, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Munish Chaudhary R/o Bikaner Sweets, SCF No. 155, Grain Market, Sector-26, Chandigarh who alleged that Ankit Goyal R/o # 3, Sector-28A, Chandigarh & others had cheated money from complainant for sending his employees namely Gautam Rana, Honeyket, Keshav & others to abroad (Canada) in the month of july 2016. Investigation of the case is in progress.
MV Theft
Ashish Kumar R/o # 1129/B, Sector-41/B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Pulsar M/Cycle No. KA-03JP-3739 parked near his residence on 29-01-2021. A case FIR No. 36, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Accident
A case FIR No. 28, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint Ankush Kumar R/o # 706, Ph-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Celerio car No. PB-01C-0929 namely Sukhwinder Singh R/o # 2054, Pipli Wala Town, Mani Majra, Chandigarh who hit to complainant’s car No. PB-01C0921 near Khalsa College Light Point, Sector-7/26, Chandigarh on 31.01.2021. Resultantly occupants of his car namely Bhupinder Singh, Karan and Suresh all got injured and admitted to GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A case FIR No. 37, U/S 279, 304A IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint Sandeep Kumar R/o # 2550, Sector-38/C, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of unknown car sped away after hitting to complainant’s mother namely Raj Kumari (pedestrian) near Small Chowk, dividing road, Sector-37/38, Chandigarh on 01.02.2021. She got injured and declared brought dead at GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
