Action against gambling

Chandigarh Police arrested Kanta Parshad Gupta R/o # 1021, Gas Colony, Village-Daria, Chandigarh, Vinod Chaudhary R/o # 203, Poultry Farm, Dariya, Chandigarh, Mohit Kumar R/o # 1064, Village-Dariya, Chandigarh, Niranjan @ Chitranjan Kumar R/o # 208, Village-Daria, Chandigarh, while playing gambling near Gorakh Nath Mandir near Raja Ka Bagh, Dariya, Chandigarh on 15.11.2020 and recovered cash Rs. 5800/- from their possession. A case FIR No. 209, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Three arrested for bursting fire crackers

A case FIR No. 354, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady R/o # 3097, Sector-38/D, Chandigarh against Rakesh Mehta, Arun Mehta & other R/o # 3096, Sector-38/D, Chandigarh who burst fire crackers near their residence on 15.11.2020. All arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for theft

Vishal Bhushan R/o # 4124, Sector-56, Chandigarh alleged that Ravi Kumar @ Cheepu R/o # 3698, Sector-56, Chandigarh (age 25 years) was caught red while stealing LPG gas cylinder from 2^nd floor of complainant’s residence on 15.11.2020. A case FIR No. 355, U/S 380, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.
