One arrested for possessing illegal liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Rahul R/o # 4692/3, Sector-38, Chandigarh and recovered 40 quarters of illegal country made liquor near Sabji mandi, DMC, Chandigarh on 20.09.2020 from his possession. A case FIR No. 142, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. He was later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Attempt to murder

          A case FIR No. 189, U/S 307, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Pankaj Vaid R/o # 29, Army flat, Sector 44, Chandigarh against unknown person who beaten with intention to kill unknown person near Sector-43/44 light point on 20.09.2020. Unknown injured got admitted in PGI, Chandigarh.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

 Snatching

Sh. Charan Singh R/o D-222, Shakurpur JJ Colony, North West Delhi alleged that  2 unknown motorcyclist who snatched complainant’s mobile phone, some cash and documents from 66 KV, Sub Station, Sector-52, Chandigarh on 19.092020. A case FIR No. 181, U/S 379-B IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Sunny R/o # 3139, Sector-27, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away motorcycle No. PB27E-0772 parked near his residence on the night intervening 11/12-09-2020. A case FIR No. 157, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sone Lal R/o # 460, Govind Nagar, Naaya Gaon, Mohali, reported that unknown person stole away motorcycle No. PB65AB-8632, parked near # 327, Sector-56, Chandigarh on the night intervening 18/19-09-2020. A case FIR No. 291, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
