Two persons arrested for MV Theft

Man Bahadur R/o Shop No. 23, Peer Baba Road, Baltana, (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH01-AW-4105 from the parking of Shivalik Garden, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 04.09.2020. Later two persons namely Vishal R/o # 264, Village Rally, Sector-12A, Distt-Panchkula, HR and Chirag R/o # 120, Village Rally, Sector-12A, Distt-Panchkula, HR, have been arrested in this case. A case FIR No. 141, U/S 379 added 411 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

Virender Singh R/o # 269, Burail, UT, Chandigarh alleged that driver of car No. HR03U-0979 namely Sanjay Vishkarma R/o # 319, top floor, Sector-9, Panchkula (HR) hit complainant’s motorcycle No. CH03S-6570 near # 734, Sector-8, Chandigarh on 06.09.2020. Complainant got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 80, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Publishing/transmitting of sexually explicit material depicting children

A case FIR No. 158, U/S 67 (B) IT ACT 2000 has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against unknown person who uploaded / transmitted child pornography content on web. The case has been registered on receiving information from C.P/R.G.R portal of NCRB. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault/Quarrel

          A case FIR No. 113, U/S 341, 323 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh on the complaint of Dheeraj R/o # 1820/A, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh who alleged that Amit, Jaggi, Vikas & Shubham assaulted complainant with rod, knife, beer bottles & helmet near Community Center, Milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh on 06.09.2020. Complainant got injuries and got admitted in GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Alleged persons namely Amit R/o # 822, Milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh, Jagmohan Singh R/o # 53, Milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh, Vikas Bhatt R/o # 60, Milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh and Shubham R/o # 613, Milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh have been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

          A case FIR No. 182, U/S 323, 341, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh on the complaint of Suraj R/o # 178, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh who alleged that Aakash, Abhimanue, Abhishek and Arun R/o # 564, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh assaulted complainant with sticks, Sword and baseball bat near Valmiki Mandir, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 05-09-2020. Complainant got injuries and got admitted in Civil Hospital, Manimajra, Chandigarh. Alleged persons have been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

A case FIR No. 173, U/S 341, 324, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Amit R/o # 2353, Sector-52, Chandigarh who alleged that Monu @ Shetty, Vikas @ Golu and Hobo all R/o Sector-52, Chandigarh assaulted complainant with knife near Gate No. 2, Sector-52, Chandigarh on 06-09-2020. Complainant got injuries and got admitted in GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

Burglary

DR. G. Vajralingam R/o # 5630, Modern Complex, Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person committed theft by breaking the main door locks of his house on 07.09.2020. Stolen property yet not estimated by complainant. A case FIR No. 142, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

Sandeep R/o # 1636/1, Sector-30B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person cheated Rs. 11,050/- from complainant on pretext of selling digital camera Nikon D7500 which was posted on facebook by alleged persons. A case FIR No. 173, U/S 120B, 420 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Atul Rai R/o Flat No. 1221, GMCH residential Complex, Sector-32B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person sent google pay link on his mobile number for sending payment against purchasing sanitizer on 19.06.2020. But when the complainant clicked on said link the amount of Rs. 10,000/- & 4995/- debited from his SBI account. A case FIR No. 181, U/S 120B, 419, 420 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Vivek R/o # 5170/A, Sector-38W, Chandigarh reported that he was searching for job/work during the lockdown period on online website QUIKR. Later he received a call from data fortune solutions and they cheated Rs. 4000/- as service charge for providing an online job. A case FIR No. 132, U/S 120B, 420 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
