Action against disobeying of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 139, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against Sh. Heera Singh Gabria, All India President SAD(B), Sh. Vikramjit Singh, Social Media President, SAD(B), Sh. Gurmukh Singh Sohal, President SAD(B) and 72 others activists who disobeyed the order of District Magistrate, 144 Cr.PC in the city on 09.08.2020. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 121, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh against Mangat Ram R/o # 2463, Mari Wala Town, Manimajra, Chandigarh, who disobeyed the order of District Magistrate, UT, Chandigarh regarding curfew hours near H.No. 2463, Mari Wala Town, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 08.08.2020. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Surinder Jat R/o # 65/1, Darshani Bagh, Manimajra, Chandigarh (age 27 years) and recovered 208 gm opium from his possession near Sports Complex, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 09.08.2020. A case FIR No. 122, U/S 18 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling

Chandigarh Police arrested Sikandar Singh R/o # 104, Subhash Nagar, Tehsil-Camp, Distt. Panipat, (HR) while he was playing satta near Govt. Toilet Charan Singh Colony, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on 09.08.2020. Total cash Rs. 4900/- was recovered from his possession. A case FIR No. 168, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 138, U/S 279, 337 IPC & 185 MV Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of HGV Manoj 32/CHG against driver of Splendor M/Cycle No. CH01-BX-8959 namely Yash R/o # 2545, Sector-20C, Chandigarh who hit complainant at Naka near Hari Mandir, Sector 26, Chandigarh on 08.08.2020. Complainant got injuries and admitted in GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
